SAND RLL SHT4.5X30'#100

I have used this product for years. It works great. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is that it comes in only 35 ft lengths; only enough for 3 rolls in my 22" Performax drum sander. The drum sander needs 9.4 ft of sandpaper. I end up having the throw away 6-7 ft of each roll. Why don't they make it in 38 ft long rolls so anyone with a 22" machine could get 4 strips out of each bulk roll? That would be a 30% savings for me.

I recently purchased a Supermax 16/32 drum Sander. I bought a roll of 120, & 220 grit at my local woodworking store. It was their store brand of sandpaper. Sanding on a 28" wide panel after about 8-10 passes, the spor's brand would rip where it attached to the drum. I cut several strips of paper with each grit, and always the same result. Comparing the paper to the 80 grit that came with my sander, I could tell that the 80 grit was a much thicker paper. I immediately ordered this paper from Amazon. It arrived in 2 days. Very happy with it. Paper is much thicker than the local store brand. It hasn't ripped, and works very well. It should last me a very long time. I highly recommend this product.

I purchased this for use in my drum sander.A much more economical way to buy drum sander paper then the pre-cut variety.One needs to keep a pre-cut piece so you can use it as a pattern to but out a section from this roll.The paper cuts easily with scissor but scissor will dull quickly cutting the abrasive.Good quality paper that holds its abrasiveness well and the belt is strong and never broke in my drum sander.This is the exact width required for my chinese made generic sander.

I was hesitant to step away from the Jet ready-to-wrap abrasive packs, but averaging $10 per roll for my 16-32 it was getting a little pricey. One pack gave me more than enough to make five wraps. I easily could've gotten six, had I planned my cuts better! I'm still on my first wrap and I easily would've gone through two boxes of Ready-To-Wrap!The backing feels a little thicker and you have to work it a little more to wrap the drum but that's nothing new. Substantial savings and a far superior product!!!

I'm not using this on a belt or anything. I've been using this on hand sanders or little sheets just by themselves. It's easy to cut pieces and it works really well wet sanding too. It holds up great.

Does not last long. Received it today and the whole roles in the garbage already. Burnt random holes right threw the middle of the strips and ripped the end off on the second pass of one the other strips. Will not buy again only able to get 3 pieces out of it for the performs 22-44 drum sander had to throw around 8' away right off the get go. Then as you read the rest soon fallowed. Very dissapointed in the product bought it due to good reviews. Only reason for 2 star shipping was great it showed up a day early.

Excellent sandpaper. Use with air inline sander and on 1-1/2 thru 3 inch drums mounted on hand drill. Sanding is on fiberglass with both epoxy and polyester resins. Cuts very well and clean with little clogging despite using with short resin cure times. Hard cure almost no clogs unless repeated or high pressure sanding in one place heats the resin. I like it and will reorder. delivery was very fast and product is as advertised.

Okay, it appears well made. The backing is very strong and stable. It was easy to cut and install. However, the first belt I made last about an hour. The next belt I made lasted about 15 minutes. The third belt I installed was completely smooth and burning almost immediately. I am not even going to bother making the last belt from the roll. To the bin this junk goes.
