no frills, nothing extra but does the job. I bought this for those winter/spring commutes where a heavy jacket is too much but you also need something waterproof. this fits the bill. the pockets are a decent size, the coat sizes well and is a more relaxed fit than other similar coats. I've not worn it in proper rain so can't comment on its performance, but it's warm enough. I wouldn't recommend this for any active walking (e.g. hiking etc.) as it's a little restricted on the shoulders. A good day-to-day city jacket

Got this for my husband, in the large size - Oxford Blue and Grey, he is often between a medium and large, but Regatta comes up a little smaller, so large fits perfectly, it is just what he wants. He has nearly the exact same coat, but in the thinner version, more of a rain jacket with no padding. This has slight padding and is slightly warmer for him, but also waterproof. Good bargain at the price, and no postage to pay. The lighter blue is cheaper for some reason than the navy, but exactly the same otherwise. All in all a good buy, he is really pleased with it.

Good range of pockets & warm enough in daily use. Probably not warm enough for sub-zero yomping the moors though.

Received on time, very well made, padding for warmth but really light and comfortable. Recommended.
