I like the back brace. The only problem, I had no instructions and the size was small instead of medium.

I bought this back brace for my husband, and he likes it. It supports the back pretty good.

I work on my feet all day. I twisten my back and was in pain at my lower back - way down at my tailbone area. I could hardly move, much less stand and work. The moment I put this on, I felt relief! It allowed me to work an 8-hour shift in food service with a tolerable amount of discomfort. The second day I wore it, the relief was compounded. I am female, and wear the belt very low over my hips. I am glad I went with size L because based on where I needed to position this, a M would not have been large enough. But this belt supports all the way down. There are 4 metal bars which run vertically equadistant from the spine. Because this is a size L, the outside 2 are almost at my hip points which is a little farther out than I would prefer, but the belt overall still does a great job of supporting. I tried other belts which said they were for lower back, but where they provided support was right around the waistline. This is true lower back, true lumbar support. Belt is good for standing, it slides up when I sit (I need to reposition it after lunchtime), but that is likely because I wear it so low.

I recommend that you get a size larger than what you think you need. It barely fits me and I have to have help to get it on. The material in this belt feels like it has crackle paper inside of it. The metal stays in the back dig into the bottom of the rib cage if not put on low enough and into the kidneys. This hurts. Be sure to put it on low. Once it is on, you cannot sit down with it on because it digs into the ribs as it slides up. Do not put it on bare skin, make sure you have a shirt on under it. The belt is good for holding in your stomach as you go for a walk but in a workout it slides up a bit. This may be because the size XXL is still too small. The sizes do not transfer to American sizes. I thought I was getting a size too big, but wow, this barely touched in the middle as I pulled the two sides together in the front. Really, buy a size or two bigger than you need.

I’m 5:8, 163, 32/33 waist. I got this in the Medium. This has great support for lower and upper back, but this would not be great for construction, who would need more support. This brace has a lot of mesh in the back so it would probably not hold up very well to the high demands of heavy lifting, bending etc. This is good for sitting long hours at your desk, cleaning the house, light gardening, light work outs in the gym. I’m overall pleased with the support it provided for what I needed.

I had a back support belt I got for my chiropractor years ago. Couldn't find it anymore. Bought this one from Amazon. This one is better than when I got for my chiropractor. Unbelievable support of my lower back. It literally works wonders. It's a game changer.
