Used once for outdoor movie night. Set up was really easy and stands are sturdy and height has a bit of adjustment as well. Connection between the two speakers was easy. My only negative is the remote didn't seem to affect the volume when the source was movie projector with Fire TV Stick. I could change between modes - like blu tooth and other. Volume was easily controlled on back of the primary speaker and then I could use my source remotes to change volume. So not a real big issue and maybe it is designed that way not sure...ie if you are using blu tooth for instance, or playing media from a memory card. Speakers are large but actually not very heavy so easy to lift and transport. provided great sound for outdoor movie nightUpdate 6/27/22: I went to use the system just to play music via Bluetooth on Saturday 6/25/22 for an outdoor party. ( I have probably used the system 5 or 6 times total. But on Saturday, the powered speaker worked, but I wasn't getting sound from the passive speaker. The sound output from the one speaker actually was adequate but I did want to get it fixed. I emailed Proreck on Sunday night around 9:30pm central and had a response from them later that night. ( Actually I noticed the next morning but the response was quick). They sent an email with pictures of things to check. All the connections in the speaker cabinets seemed fine. Evn the connections in the speakon cable seemed fine. My quess is the speakon connection cable contacts got misaligned somehow and once I re-screwed the cable again it was able to click in the locked position better on the ports on the speaker cabinets and everything works fine.Bottom line though is Proreck was very responsive and ultimately my system sounds as good as it ever did. So still 5 stars on product, and 5 stars for being responsive to customer service inquiry.

Worth the money- they don't sound like Thoughsand dollar speakers but they Will knock a party, indoor or out. It has RCA out so I can easily add a sub woofer or any type of system (while these play independently) so if I want that high fidelity I can get it. The speakers are really light and the wheels don't matter- unless you are about 5'4" AND lazy. All of the other add ons are bonus; the stands are sturdy and will hold speakers twice the size, a mike and a remote? Good to Go.

I have owned my set now for more than a year and I have had no issues at all. I run a Live Trivia company and I have purchased two more of these sets for my other hosts to use and they have performed very well. Our venues run from open warehouse-type breweries to an overly large bowling alley bar room to small local bar (only use powered speaker in there). We play music over the speakers when we are not speaking and, again, sound is great.One issue that you will likely run into is that the threads on the mic stands strip. So, replace the nuts with some other nuts from your local hardware store to prevent stripping and not being able to tighten the stands properly. Even my microphone worked and held together for more than a year, which I really did not expect. We run wireless microphones, anyway, but I was surprised it held up that long. Excellent value for such a strong performing system.

Proreck customer service was awesome and I'm loving these speakers, so are all my guests! I host a weekly event for a bunch of friends thru the summer. I also was asked to bring these speakers to other outdoor events of neighborhood and family type gatherings. Many have commented how awesome they are. They inquire who's are they, where did I find them, and naturally how much do they cost. When I tell them all answers, they are shocked and convinced they want a pair. Performance in open space is great value no question.I say customer service was awesome, because my original order came all seemed good, but quickly realized the powered speaker had a short internally. I wasn't sure what the problem was, but then tinkering found I could tip it on it's side and it worked, which means I couldn't use the stand. Contact customer service, they sent a whole new speaker to replace original no questions really asked. I was shocked! It came in a timely manner and it worked right out of the box. Purchased this set up June/July. Used for outdoor movies and IT ROCKS!Microphone cable is a bit short and so is the speaker cable. Mic cable is not proprietary, easy to find a longer one. Speaker tether cable seems to be proprietary, going to inquire on that and try and get something longer to allow speaker placement apart at greater distance.all in all... 4 stars because of the value (budget) friendly speaker. Not an indicator of overall quality of speaker & sound mix... because you would be paying $1,000's for those speakers that are capable of that in open area use. But seriously, these are very good speakers.also note other features: bluetooth works well. I found in open / unobstructed area, I can walk about 20' away from speaker before sound/signal distortion becomes an issue. audio input cable not included, buy one when you order this, and just plug the phone in for better sound. Then make sure you have a small power strip and you can plug your phone charger in while running music selection and the speaker is powered.
