1. The wire AWG is Not stated in this listing, however the Amperage Rating is stated @ 10A is in the listing header. The stranded copper wire is half the strands of a 10A rated wire. Note in the photos, the insulation looks normal size for 1000V rated test leads, which these are, but the lack of quantity in the stranded copper wire will more than likely cause these leads to become a Fuse at 10A.2. Not one of any of the 8 alligator clips had the clip crimped onto the wire insulation (see photos). This condition will lead to the wire breaking away at the solder joint.3. The Red & Black insulators twist sideways when You start to squeeze down on them to open up the jaws of the clips...they do Not stay in place...the are very slippery PVC.To remedy and salvage these 33"L leads, I cut off all alligator clips and threw them in the trash along with the PVC insulators (boots). I then crimped and solder quality 'Mueller' #60 alligator clips, and Mueller #BU-62 rubber Insulators.
