The other player reads the question and your answer is checked by looking at the front of the card. If correct, you keep the card. Cards written by someone who definitely does not know German
About half of the cards already have mistakes on the front part and the questions in German are not better.Example (the "Das Café" card from the sample images):waitress = die Kellnerin der Kellner = waiterdie Eiscreme (Eiskrem) not "das", it would be "das Eis". The gender of a compound noun is determined by the last one.While the idea is OK it would help if the cards were written by someone who actually does know German (and English too - hint: learn the difference between singular and plural, verb stem and gerund, ...)

Contains mistake - zu viele Fehler
Idea is good if you are already good at German but it needs to be checked by native speakers to ensure it is correct. If an 8 year old picks up on a mistake that's not good. There are several mistakes in this pack which is really not good. Contemplating about returning this on that basis.The 10 seconds to look at the picture are not enough if you need to read and learn the vocabulary. Should not be classed as learn German. More like reinforce existing German knowledge. Also too few cards for the game to be interesting for long. Very quickly you know all the answers and the game will be dull. Would not recommend this series and definitely not the learn German set.

Not what I expected but ok
Cute little Peppa box, not quite what I expected it was, I maybe didn’t read the description well. The idea is you show your child the card and speak about the picture then on the other side there is pictures which ask what the close up pictures are. I thought it would maybe have different questions rather than just pictures but it’s ok to sit for a little while with your child and occupy them.

Helps with multiple skills
My grandson struggles with reading etc. He loves playing brain box and tries really hard to read the questions. It is helping him in so many ways. Training visual memory, turn taking, vocabulary building having fun and reading without stress. Thank you brain box

Not suitable for children over 3
Brought for 3 year old, and she has used once. It doesn't really have a point if I'm honest maybe for a younger child but my daughter found it quite boring. One side has zoomed in images from a larger picture on the other side. I don't feel there is any educational value to this at all. And would not recommend.

Fun but brain engaging too
Great price for this little game. It’s a fun game that you can spend 5-10 minutes playing but the best part is they’re engaging their brain without even thinking! My 4 year old loves peppa pig and she thinks this game is so much fun!

Wonderful, a must buy for the relevant age group! Very impressed with the concept and the quality of the cards, they feel like made of plastic (they are made from recyclable material really!).Very happy that I bought this for my daughter, tried maths and ABC cards, will try science, country and other cards soon.

Great for speaking and listening exercises
Used these cards with a group of children. They liked the concept and kept on asking for new cards. The thickness of the cards was excellent for little hands. The content on the cards stretched the children encouraging them to use more vocabulary.
