I love this sleep mask. The band that goes around your head is adjustable. The mask itself is so soft and the covering is silky smooth - and there are indentations for your eyes, so there is no pressure on your eyes. I find the quality is excellent, and it's a great design. You do not get hot wearing the mask, and it is very comfortable. It blocks the light. In the summer the light is so bright in my room, that it wakes me up too early. This mask is perfect for blocking the light and letting me sleep in.

Pros: This mask works extremely well for me. The strap was already at the perfect tightness for my head; not too loose, not too tight. Obviously your mileage may vary, but it's adjustable, so there shouldn't be any issues. The fabric is very comfortable (silky smooth), so I really don't notice it on my face. And it stays on incredibly well. I've yet to have it slip far enough off that the light shines through and bothers me, which is all you can ask for. I alternate between sleeping on my back, side, and stomach, and it stays on very well. At only $10 USD, this mask is an absolute bargain. Cons: There is a little bit of light bleed at the bottom of the nose. That being said, it's not substantial enough to where it's something I personally notice when sleeping, even in a sun-soaked room. Also, while there is *some* contour that allows space for your eyes, it's very minimal, so it still rests on your eyes. I can't open them with the mask on. I'm not sensitive to having something pressed against my eye, but I do wake up a bit more crusty-eyed than normal. Again, it's not substantial enough to make or break for me, but if it's something you're sensitive too, I'd consider something with more of a cup to leave space for your eyes to breathe. I would give this 4.5 stars if I could, but since the cons don't bother me all that much, I'll go ahead and say 5 stars. If it was any more expensive, I'd say do more research, but since it's only $10, I'd say it's definitely worth giving a try if you're looking to buy your first sleep mask.

Definitely blocks out light and is very soft and comfortable on my face. It has a nice soft adjustable strap as well. Would purchase one again, if I needed one. Wish it came in different colors. Purple would be great!

I have had several eye pillows over the years that help during migraines and to sleep. I have had one from 1$ upwards of 30$, made of plastic material to cloth with pellets, and even some with "soothing" materials. Out of all of these, I have to say that this is by far the best eye pillow I have come across. It eliminates the light that sometimes creeps in through the area between your eye and your nose, and has a pleasant feel against my skin. I spend most of my day on my stream or editing videos for Youtube, so when it is time to sleep I like to cancel out all incoming light that I can. I can tell you that this does it with an efficiency I have not see in any other product. It takes a great deal for me to give such high praise to a product, but this does it with ease. I was skeptical reading the page because I always am, but since its delivery I have been pleasantly surprised. If I could give this 6 stars, I definitely would, From just the stand point of someone wanting a better nights sleep, Its a 10/10. From the standpoint of someone who medically has intense light sensitivity when going through a migraine, I give it a 10/10. From the standpoint of just a consumer looking for quality out of his money, Look not further. This is literally the best eye pillow I have come across. It's easy adjustable strap allows it to stay on my face regardless if I toss or turn, and although I have yet to use it during a flight, I can only imagine the same result as at my home. Let me state for full clarity, I have spent close to 200$ in just the last two years on eye pillows, This is not only the best for the price, it's the best for its purpose. I do not see myself purchasing anything other than this in the future, and I would be willing to put my name behind it (if that's worth anything.) So if you are hesitant on purchasing, Let me assure you that if your goal is to block light from your eyes, this is the ticket. Do yourself a favor, like I have, and give it a try. I have spoken with the Alaska Bear people myself, and they are very professional. So for your TL:DR "It's worth it, and you won't regret it. I have had many, and this is the best I have encountered thus far."

I've actually bought two of these, even though the reason I bought the second one was because I had lost the first one. If you're a disorganized or forgetful person who might also have a cluttered bedroom, do yourself a favor - either hang your mask on a hook, put it in a safe drawer, or keep it in one spot where you'll always know to find it. The little flimsy bag they give you is useless, although - let's be real, that's not what you're paying for - and I lost the first one very quickly because it's small, dark, and has slippery fabric that can hide easily in the laundry basket. Of course, I found the first one on the same day the second one arrived in the mail. I'm not complaining at all however, this is an awesome enough buy that I'm more than happy to own two of them. The band fits very well and comfortably around the head, without putting too much pressure on the eyes. It might seem like the elastic band adjusts and slides too easily at first, but once it's in place it stays put and I think it's actually designed to adjust easily in order to prevent it from getting twisted, tangled, or too tight around your head while you're sleeping. I've worn the mask with my hair in a pony tail, braids, and down - the mask stayed in place, comfortably, every time. My boyfriend also has long hair, although it's much heavier and thicker than mine, but he didn't have any problems wearing it either. He's actually stolen my extra mask a few times, because he says he likes to use it when he has to sleep during the day. Size wise, it fits my face and eye area very well. It's long enough to fall past my cheekbones and sufficiently block out any light, but it's not too long that it covers too much of my face and it fits well above my nose without being weird. I'm an average sized female with an average sized head, so my opinion is that it would fit just about any size face or head comfortably (maybe a few exceptions for especially petite or tall, lol). The fabric is very soft and smooth, so it feels pretty awesome on your face. It's light enough that it doesn't seem too obtrusive and/or awkward to wear while falling asleep. The fabric on the main part of the mask doesn't seem to retain any heat or moisture either, so you won't wake up with your face feeling sticky or sweaty. I've been using it to sleep, approximately every other day or so, for the past 3-4 weeks. I haven't had any problems with the quality, it always works very well, helps me fall asleep quickly, and I haven't had any problems with it reacting to my skin or causing any breakouts (huge plus! lol). All in all, I definitely give this sleep mask a 5 star rating ~ Highly recommend! (I'm not one of those lucky ducks who receives products for free or at discount to write reviews, either. Although that does sound like a pretty awesome gig.)

The padding pushes the mask away from the nose, so light still enters. The slit for the nose area is too short. I believe there needs to be less material on the forehead and more on the cheeks to block out light properly. This would work better if band was sewn higher up on the mask, and the nose slit went up a little higher, and there wasn’t so much padding. I bought one of this brand YEARS ago, and it was the perfect sleep mask. No light at all, but this one is not close to as soft, and functional as the old one…I only bought a new one because the band was wearing out on my old one… I am disappointed
