I purchased a total of 6 sets of these curtains to use as backdrops for a banquet. The first four panels I opened and ironed were gorgeous and of very good quality. Unfortunately, as I worked through the sets I began to discover that some had varying levels of quality control. Side seams had been ripped out and re-sewn on several panels, other panels had little snags and pulls here and there on the fabric. One panel had a substantial fade line at the top near the pole pocket. None of this was immediately apparent when I first took the curtains out of the package but you tend to see a lot of detail when ironing. Unfortunately, I had no time to replace any of the sub-par panels before the event so I just used them anyway. There was also glitter, loose threads, and what appeared to be cardboard debris on some of the panels that I had to remove with a lint roller. I doubt I will be ordering from Dreaming Casa again since quality control is so very inconsistent.

I ordered 8 pairs of these drapes 5 months ago, so they’ve been hanging for awhile. I have to say these are the BEST drapes I’ve ever bought! I couldn’t sew these myself for this price and they’ve held up to a couple of cats and wild 7 yr.old who uses them for pretend stage drapes! Easy to wash on cold and I warm iron them. I’ll be ordering more from this company when I want to change my colors again.

I agree with most reviews that these drapes are not black out, however they do darken the room considerably. Last nights full moon did not brighten our room like before. The material is very nice. Be sure to order wide enough - at least twice your window width. A pleasant surprise was the amount of noise that they block out. Our neighbor allows a tractor trailer to idle for hours at night and I can no longer hear it in the bedroom. Definitely worth the money.

I have a room that if you want to watch TV in the sun hits just wrong every afternoon until well past dinner time. I bought a nice brushed nickel curtain rod and stretched it as far as I could so that these hang completely off the french doors and transom window past the trim. When pulled back these add a nice accent to the room. When closed they do an adequate job - certainly well enough for me to enjoy the TV without issue, which is all I wanted. Drawing the curtains closed is easy. I won't let the kids or short people pull them back because they kind of stick to the rod going that direction. There is a limited amount of reddish glow, sort of pleasant actually. I think more expensive curtains would block more light, but I'm content and like the feel of these and the way they hang.

Wow, I am amazed at the high quality of these curtains!! They are very soft to the touch, but they are a good sturdy, heavy curtain that actually blocks the light and any chill that may come through your windows if you live in an older home like I do. I literally just got these about 2 hours ago and hung them up, and I was so impressed with the fact that the chill I get from my front window was now gone that I ordered another 3 pairs for my bedroom and the spare room. Grab these while they are still in stock at this price, I don't think you'll ever find another deal like this for 2 panels of curtains, because the last time I bought curtains I paid more for 4 single panels than I just paid for 5 pairs!!!

For the price, these are a steal! Two panels for $19.99 is great. The quality of the fabric is better than expected and for those saying these curtains aren't true "blackout curtains", I have these on the south side of my house and I think they're amazing. Our bedroom is like a cave on weekend mornings, whereas before we were up with the sun.

I wanted some gray drapes for my front living room that’s across my dining room which has velvet gray drapes. These definitely weren’t as high end looking or feeling but they were 1/4 of the cost of my other velvet drapes. They aren’t bad they’re just not the best. May return them and splurge on the velvet ones since it’s the first room seen when walking into my house. I do like the look they give being a pocket rod drape since I am not a fan of grommet drapes. They’re very bunched at the top which is a higher end look.

GAME CHANGER. I had a great window treatment for my room already, double curtain rod, linen sheets behind think velvety light blocking curtains. But bc the double rod sticks out away from the wall, I still needed to SEAL the light out.Now I have the Amazon basics tension shower rod and these curtains wedged inside the window frame (behind the sheets) and I’ve never slept better. I never even seen them during the day either bc I push them to the sides enough that the original window treatment hides them. Black curtains alone would be too aggressive for me.

These are the best blackout curtains I've tried. Very little light gets though. They came from overseas but came much faster than Amazon expected. I ordered curtains in several sizes and all were well made and gathered and hung well.
