Stanbroil damper stop used to keep your fireplace damper in the fixed open position or prevent full closure. The chimney damper MUST be fully opened when burning the log set. The log set is designed to burn with yellow flames; thus adequate ventilation is absolutely necessary.

Large but works
A lot larger than I thought but easy enough to install and bring us up to code. These are expensive for what it is but this was one of the cheaper ones.
