Impressive
Everything is as very wonderful, put it in a 1967 Chevy nova, looked amazing. The specs in the alternator was right on. Worth every bit of it and more

poor quality
alternator does not put out enough voltage to the battery to keep it charged as well as run the car. I have done multiple tests on it after the vehicle stuck me off the side of the road. So buyer beware. It worked for about a month but past my return period. Now I am out.

Total junk.. and no customer service
If I could put negative starts i would.. Dosent charge. Drains the battery. Makes grinding noises for day 1.. Amazon says to contact the manufacturer for warranty.. good luck finding them online.. worst money spent!!!

Easy installation and very high output
Great look and high output! Keeps my battery charged even with 2 air compressors running at 100% duty cycles!

Decent value
This replaced a 65 amp Delco one wire that aged out. Unit is an exact copy but I had to clock mine to get the amp light plug facing up. Easy to do, just loosen all the clamping screws and gently pry apart the halves until you can rotate them to the position you need then retorque. The unit needs to come up to about 1200rpm to self energize, but stays charging 14vdc at lower rpms after that, it also makes an odd whining, almost turbo like, when it's charging. Not a deal breaker but it cost it a star. BTW, this is a one wire, the extra plug wires are for a dash "idiot" light; one goes to 12vdc (output term) the other goes to the dash light.
