First for the bad it case adds some girth to your phone. More than others I have used on this model phone. However it gives me a sense of security that the phone is well protected. The other feature I'm not to thrilled about is the headphone jack opening. You will require to have headphones with a narrow plug as the plastic molding will prevent larger ones from connecting properly. I am tempted to file down the opening to allow larger plugs but am afraid to compromise the cases strength.Now for the good. I love the holster the fact that I can put the phone glass up or glass down for more protection is a plus similar cases only fit glass down. Because of this the belt clip doubles as stand great for watching your favorite videos hands free. The belt clip also helps big handed person hold the phone during one hand typing and launching icons. Down part to the holster is it does add bulkiness.For those that prefer not to use the Holster the ring in the back of the case doubles as kick stand and one handed operation of phone. Not sure how long it will last but seems pretty sturdy so far. Being made of plastic I hope it is durable enough to last the life of the case. Producing a similar case with a bit less profile without sacrificing its strengths would earn it 5 Stars.

This case is a very pleasant surprise. After trying out several cases over the time I have had my samsung galaxy S5, this one is finally the one!! I firmly believe in 3-part cases. The hard inner shell clicks together for a solid frame work and the somewhat soft, bouncy outer - in this case rubber - shell provides a shock proof outer wrap. This one in particular has no hint of slickness. It is as close to non-skid as you can wish for. It has the feel of your vehicle tire. That is a good thing. As added bonus the built-in ring gives you a secure hold and disappears into the case when not in use. Lastly, the rubber shell is contructed thick enough to make an excellent well for the speaker and the camera. They are lined with a solid plastic rim that prevents the edge from collapsing so the camera glass has no chance of getting scratched. The frame around the speaker creates a chamber that projects the sound well. This case is well thoughtout and designed, more than worth the money spent.

The outer case is fantastic rugged and durable. I dropped my S5 in an underground hole with approximately 18 inches of water, of course it sank to the bottom. It took approximately 3 minutes to retrieve it and another 2 minutes to get it to sunlight and get the case off. Imediate lyrics pulled the bayern and dropped the disassembled phone into a bag with the battery and some desiccant, through it up on the dash along with a few curse words and waited. After about 2 hours and no water indicator tab turning pink I powered on the phone. It did do a factory reset but it worked fine in fact writing this review on it. The 4 star rating is because it was the belt clip that popped off which was the cause of the issue in the first place.However, I just popped the clip back on and it is working still today. The case I believe saved my phone the clip has a few new names I call it!!!

I bought 2 of these for Christmas. One for me and one for my son who is very hard of phones. If you want a case that will protect your phone, look no further. We combined this with the glass screen protector and they are almost bullet proof. My son dropped his phone from a scaffold, almost 20ft up in the air, onto a concrete floor. It landed face down. He thought for sure that it was gone. He picked it up and the only thing wrong was a slight spiderweb on the glass protector. No other damage done to the phone. We have both dropped our phones several times and the case has protected it every time. I'm not sure if the poor reviews are from people who didn't install it correctly or what but they are WAY off base. The rubber out case does make it a little difficult to get to the charging port cover. I have to use my fingernail to open it. My only complaint is that after 9 months, the rubber outer case has stretched out a bit, probably because I out it in my pocket instead of using the belt carrier. I would definately recommend this and I am going to buy another one.

**Update 6/14/19**Rubber case does not stay on very well. Granted it has saved my phone from shattering from multiple drops since I purchased this case! Over all the case does its job.Ive had this case for couple months now so heres my review. Very cool looking case. Durable for sure, as Ive dropped my phone twice already. The back circle clip thing is cute, I dont really use it much at all. It does seem to be a little wobbly when you prop the phone on it, and it looks cheapy. My kids love to spin it to make noise lol.The opening for battery port cover has a little extra rubber that sticks out, and if you try to squeeze the phone in a slightly tight pocket, the rubber casing starts to pull off. Granted it does pop back on perfect. Totally love the black & red colors too!!

I ordered this case for a family member who seems to have a hard time with keeping phones from being broken. This one has been very durable and sturdy and seems pretty easy to take off and clean.

Ok, so I was just a little apprehensive about this item after reading some of the posted reviews, but I was able to put all of my fears aside after receiving the item itself. The color is pretty close to what is pictured, overall I am quite satisfied with the case after putting it together and trying it out. But I must admit that it is just a little too bulky for my personal taste, (then again to each his own). Finally, I feel that this particular case is a bargain as far as I am concerned, my reasoning is simply because I have seen similar styled cases priced 3 times as much as this one, last but not least, I hope that it holds up to my everyday use, if it does not I may do an update later on. So far I have no regrets with this purchase.

Interestingly I have this same case on both my S5 and my S7. Love it on my S5, hate it on my S7. Even the standard (non-Edge) S7 has touch sensitivity all the way to the outer edges of the screen. The S7 version of this case gets in the way and makes it very difficult to touch the edges of the screen.
