Divano Roma Furniture Recliner Chair, Black

I saw a lot of bad reviews on this and almost didn't buy it, but honestly, it has been pretty great for me. I am going on six months of using it every single day and have ZERO complaints. I am in it right now. I nap in it. I work from home in it. I watch movies in it. I'm sure chairs this cheap have their share of bad eggs, but apparently I didn't get one. The product that I have experienced has earned five stars. It is a bit high and narrow, but it's cushy and the material feels high quality. Additionally, it looks even better than in the photo. I have all black furniture and this is easily one of my "nicer looking" pieces, despite being cheaper. When I have guests, I find they tend to gravitate to it. Beware the risks that other reviews have presented, but the chair I got is impeccably good.UPDATE 2/10/20: This chair finally broke on me today. The trim has been wearing down for a while, probably 4-5 months. I'm not dropping my rating from 5 stars, but I wanted to provide this information. I may even re-buy this exact chair. For $210 and free delivery, I feel like I got my money's worth.

Great chair for the price. Free shipping sealed the deal. It was easy to assemble. We've only had them for less than a week so can't tell how it'll wear but will update review accordingly. My husband is 6'4 & he fits comfortably. When he leans all the way back in the chair, the foot rest ends mid-calf but he still thinks it's comfortable. Not sure if there's a weight limit but he's about 200 pounds and there have been no issues with structural integrity. We purchased 2 brown recliners and the color matches the pictures shown. No regrets so far!

The media could not be loaded.  March 22, My boyfriend (who is blind and disabled) loves his rocker recliner!June 17, Less than 90 days later, it just stopped rocking all the way and sat cock-eyed to the right. I figured something was under the chair stopping it from rocking. So I turned the chair upside down to find a small pile of ball bearings, a broken white plastic ring, and graphite lubricant that stained the brand new cream colored carpet in his new apartment. I contacted Amazon who initiated buyer/seller messaging through their website. I told Furniture Mania that I was seeking parts to fix the chair. I got the run around - I was told it was too late for a refund or replacement because it had been more than 30 days. I replied that I wasn't asking for a refund or replacement!! I was told I needed to send pictures and video - which I did promptly. The video shows the problem clearly, how the mechanism under the chair is no longer connected because of the broken ring and ball bearings missing from it. I was not going to accept the 30 day kiss of death. A chair should last more than 30 days, 60 days, 90 days, etc.June 24, I was then told by Furniture Mania that they would get back to me after going through upper management, hopefully "by end of business that day."July 27, Still haven't heard a thing! I don't know how many members of "upper management" they have to go through but I am sure I was just brushed off and left to the wayside. Very unprofessional, negligent customer service.I was sold a defective chair, period. point blank. I didn't and don't blame Furniture Mania - they didn't manufacture the chair! All I wanted was parts to repair it! Apparently this is asking too much? So now I am stuck with a rocking chair that doesn't rock and sits cockeyed to the side, with a black/grey stain on brand new carpet. What does Furniture Mania care?! They got my hard-earned money already; why should they do anything to support me, the consumer, who is stuck with the defective product they sold me?

Just arrived today. Worth the money, I think I'll be able to sleep on it. Fortunately I am short and wide, as is the chair, so the fit is good. The back was difficult to fit down onto the chair, the fit was misaligned by about an inch. I was able to mash it together, but am a little worried that there may be a structural issue with it (time will tell). The primary reason for giving this 3 stars instead of 4 is the unpleasant smell right out of the box. It's an odor like stale tobacco smoke. Hopefully that will dissipate soon.

Overall it's a nicely built reclining chair and I would recommend it for the price. I was a little disappointed that it took a week for the shipment, but I did order right around Christmas, so I'm sure that affected it.The padding is pretty cushy and the seating position feels good on my lower and upper back. I am 6ft however and I do wish the back was a tad taller. When the chair is straight up and I lay my head back fully there is not support for my head and the back of my head will rest slightly on the top of the backing of the chair. If I recline the chair fully though and lay back, then it will support my head fairly well. Mainly when your sitting straight up in it will you notice the head rest being slightly to low. But again, I'm 6ft so a slightly smaller person probably won't notice. The material of the chair is nice and seems well stitched and put together and the actual assembly that I had to do out of the box was very simple. All you need to do is insert the back of the chair into a couple of brackets that are on the bottom piece and your ready to lounge back and crack open a cold one.

Arrive several days late, Notice to arrive Tuesday, then came Monday evening when I was not home. No notice text that it was delivered and neighbor had to call me about large box outside. I had ask them to place in the garage because of predicted rainstorm coming.The box needs better strength tape because box was pretty banged up and open. Product was damaged free and easy to assemble.It is comfortable and easy to operate.
