I gently used the boards for cutting breads or veggies, stored in kitchen drawer. It is thick board in comparing with other similar product.

I read a ton of reviews about many different types of wood and many bamboo boards. I wanted just two and I didn't want them to be overly thick and heavy. I'm glad I choose these. I treated them with mineral oil three times before use. The first time I put on a heavy soaking layer and let it sit for 8 hours and then wiped it down. The next day I did another thin coat and left it for a few hours and wiped it down. Same thing the last time. I've used them many times with very sharp knives since I bought them and they are holding up well. Minor cutting marks in the wood but that's to be expected. I haven't had to retreat them with mineral oil again even though I've used them so often. When the water stops easily wicking off, it's time to recoat.

Finally got my first set of cutting boards. So helpful! These are perfect sizes for a great price. The packaging said to buy mineral oil before the first use so I did that. The mineral oil bottle said to stick them in a clean trash bag, rub around, and leave overnight so I did that too. I then washed them with a little soap and water and they have been holding up great. I make sure to clean them immediately after use as the packaging says not to leave them in water as they will warp if this is done. I love them and will likely do another mineral oil treatment soon.

I like the thickness and durability of the boards. And the 2 sizes are great as well.

I like having a juice groove and have had good experiences with bamboo cutting boards,There were a few rough cut spots on one of the blocks and a few potential splinters sitting in the groove. Took care of them with a small knife and sandpaper.The best part about this wood for cutting boards is how easy they are to clean and keep clean.

These cutting boards r great. They r easy to clean and I'm so glad they have a hole to hang them to store and dry . I also like the smaller one in case I don't have much to slice and dice . Overall these r great for the price .
