Geekworm X829-C1 Matching Metal Case/Enclosure + Power Control Switch + Cooling Fan for Raspberry Pi 4B & X829 & X735/X708 (Not Support X825)

I have not had the chance to put this item into service. This box is well built and I feel it will do well when I put it into service;

really nice case but some holes on bottom don't exactly line upthe build quality is 9 out of ten it's real sturdy but they did not think to make it easier to remove sd card have to use tweezers to remove because card does to come thru hole enough to get italso there's o way to see when battery is fully charged no holes for battery lightsall in all i really like to case just wish they'd think of those things

I have bought X829 board + dedicated metal case for my raspberry pi 4 8GB comp. The X829 board works OK, also the enclosure fits well but there is one basic error - the metal enclosure made from steel sheet strongly cuts off WiFi signal. There are some openings in the enclosure but it's not enough to stop case working as Faraday screening cage. It would be OK if it was not steel sheet but aluminium used , a plastic would be also fine. IT IS A FUNDAMENTAL ERROR which makes the case unusable. Another problem is a bit noisy fan added to the case, but it can be tolerable.And it looked so nicely on the screen ...
