From the cognitive psychology underlying each technique to the learning principles so important to the efficacy of the approach to the adjuvant psychotherapy imperative to the success of the treatment, Sohlberg and Mateer present a thorough introduction to this form of therapy as it is clinically applied.

Sohlberg & Mateer are pioneers in the formalizing of cognitive rehabilitation. Before they came along with this text, clinicians were practicing based on principles of operant conditioning which has no place with this population.

This book came right on time in brand new condition. Just what I needed, but a lot cheaper than the University Bookstore. Thank you!
