Love this, better than the gas stihl I was using. The battery last long and charges quickly. Works really well, exceeded expectations.

So far I have used this string trimmer twice and I really like it. It has some serious power and it takes care of some heavy grass and weeds without any problem. I do wish I got a second battery. This battery lasts a long time but I have a large yard and could use a second one to finish the job. Overall I would recommend this to someone looking to buy a cordless electric string trimmer.

I've had every gas powered weed eater on the market.. The EGO has more power and NO MORE Gas and Oil Mix..

I have purchased several EGO products and previously very satisfied. The eyelet on the head fell off after 13 months. I am 66 years old and do not abuse my equipment and unit actually was used very little. In contacting customer service, they inform me the "eyelet"" is an accessary and not covered under warranty and I would have to purchase it myself $10 approx for part plus shipping. When I tried using the trimmer without the eyelet (since it is only an accessary) the line does not thread outside and only has one string. I asked customer service what was covered under this fantastic warranty and was told the motor and shaft, however, it must be reviewed by their tech and it is up to their discretion if under warranty. I am very, very disappointed in their customer service department (located in Canada) and will no longer recommend EGO products to my friends and family as I have done so in the past. Sad that they will probably lose $1000's of possible future revenue due to them unwilling to honor their warranty. Their warranty as stated on a website: 5 year limited warranty on EGO outdoor power equipment and 3 year limited warranty.

I believe it lets out a sigh of relief when it rains. For normal lawn maintenance it is great but if you have vibes and heavy grass you should go for more power.Died 3 years later. Not sure why.
