The headphones are great but I had to replace the cable that connects the headphone to the player device. Upon opening the cable had the cracking sound like a bad connection when the wires get old. Replaced with a better braided cable and it sounds great, just done have the control button (volume, plus, play) that was in the wire but still able to control through the player device.

Good sounding, tight if you have a big head.
Well they are fantastic sounding headphones, without a doubt worth the price. My one issue with them is that they are a bit tight. My ears hurt a little bit after having them on for longer than 20 minutes. I'm sure that's something that will go away as the plastic stretched to better fit my head. I do have a big head after all so I can't blame the headphones too much!

work well, not fancy, a tad bulky, but I have bought the expensive brand names and they fall apart after using a year.I use them to dull my coffee grinding in the AM when I am not jumping on planes to dull crying babies or chatty passengers.

Flimsy, ill-fitting.
I was hopeful for these, having read reviews for them elsewhere, but they were not what I expected. The carrying/storage case they come with is nice, and I like that the cable is detachable, but the headphones themselves feel flimsy and the sound is really flat and tinny. They don't cancel out ANY noise whatsoever, so you have to listen to music at a higher volume if you want to drown out your morning commute like me. Would not recommend.

Wished I'd bought these first
I bought the Sony MDR-NC7-CBB on-ear headphones earlier this year to help deal with the noises one of my coworkers makes. Unfortunately, they didn't have a very good seal and pressed my ears against the temples of my glasses, making them painful to wear after a couple of hours. I should have ponied up the money and bought the Monoprice headphones first. They have a very good, cushiony seal; the only drawback so far has been the short cord -- with the laptop on the desk to my right, there's barely enough slack for the cord to reach my left ear, so I'm going to try using an extender. The batteries that came with the phones have powered them for about 5-6 hours a day for about six days, so I'm pretty happy with the battery life. When I switch the headphones on, even without audio playing, the ever-present hum of the air conditioning disappears. With audio, usually mynoise.net, my coworker disappears, too...

Headband cracked
These were a great price and recommended by Consumer Reports. They sounded great also. After less than 30 days the headband cracked and split almost all the way through. I have to send these back and that is going to be a major hassle. My 17 year old son is very careful with his electronics, the damage was not due to negligence.

Good for the money...
These are good headphones for the money. Despite what they say about 20Hz to 20kHz, I tested them with some online test tones. It's more like 30Hz to 14kHz (although I'm too old for higher than that!)

Amazing.
Least would have to be that sometimes there's a small fuzzy sound or hum when it's quiet vocals only in a song, but it's not too noticeable so I'm not really worried about it. They're great as far as I'm concerned. Nice sturdy aux cable with a good length, headphones are durable with a good weight to them, the turning ear pieces are really handy, the cushioning is plentiful without being overbearing, the sound is clear as well as spot on, and the travelling case is a nice sturdy material as well with a great fit for the headphones and the cord. I have no real complaints other than I wish I could have gotten them in purple.

Great product. Works as described
Great product. Works as described. It was a little to small for me to wear so I sent it back. Return process was easier than expected.
