When replacing the LCD screen on my iPhone I added this gasket to hopefully help protect from moisture and dust. This is a very small gasket and its a bit difficult to get it placed properly. Before you connect the new screen remove the protective plastic from one side of the gasket then place the gasket over the back phone cover and use a plastic pry tool to push the gasket onto the very small lip just inside the edge of the case. It will bond to the case. Make sure you get all of it pushed to the lip, then gently remove the other sheet of plastic. The gasket should stay in the lip as you peel off the plastic, any area that didn't stick will stay on the plastic and stretch out of shape as you pull the plastic.Now finish connecting the screen and closing up the phone. I used a refurbished iPhone screen and its like original working perfectly.

If your work on phones you know what these are. They do a good job sealing out water. They are difficult to apply as they like to stick to the applicator more than the phone. Buy spares as you’ll probably tear a few. Be sure to seal the edges before trying to lift off applicator backer.

Works as it should, you received two seals in the package.I recommend using a blow dryer to slightly warm it after setting it onto the case to make it stick here for your screen so as to create a good waterproof seal.

I tried one of these when replacing an iPhone battery. It was easy to place, but it did not stick. The display adhesive from iFixit works MUCH better. This ended up being worthless. Not recommended at all.
