i've had this case / screen protector for 6 months now. so far, they have worked to my expectations.i bought this case at the same time as my new GT-i9192... it has so far protected the phone from 2 drops from pocket-height, as well as all the usual abuse from daily use. the case shows no signs of wear or failure, and looks essentially like the day it arrived. the screen protector was poorly cut and doesn't exactly match the shape of my phone's screen, but it has stayed installed and clear (except for scratches, obviously) the entire time.the case does a fine job of protecting the screen, and the camera lens. i can set the phone down on a table on either face and have absolutely no concern about scuffing or scratching anything.all buttons and ports are fully usable with the case in place.in conclusion: i would definitely recommend this case. it only adds a little bulk to the phone, but it makes the phone much easier to grip, and it has definitely protected my phone very well. after 6 months, it shows no sign of even beginning to wear out.

This case is great for the price, especially considering how few cases are available for the Galaxy S4 mini right now. It fits well, though I would like it even more if it was slightly tighter on the sides. It sits in place and is easy enough to put on and take off. The case does not cover anything that shouldn't be covered, and the cut outs are nicely made. It's got a decent bevel, maybe not as large of one as I'd like but it's there. The bevel also is slightly higher on the top and bottom sides than the left and right ones; it slopes slightly.As far as the appearance goes, I like the honeycomb pattern, and it's subtle. I have no problems with it slipping out, and have found that the material has a high enough friction that it's prevented my phone from slipping off surfaces a few times already. The only thing I'd recommend is to get a different color than white, as the white case is already pretty dingy, both the back, rubbery material and the harder material on the side. It almost looks like I picked the gray case. My favorite part about this case is that it doesn't make my phone bulky. I picked the mini specifically because I wanted to still be able to put it in my pocket, and I can do that with this case on it.The screen protector that comes with this is nearly impossible to put on the phone without debris getting stuck to the underside of it. It's the anti-static cling style protector, so if you have to make a small adjustment at all when trying to put it on the phone, stuff WILL cling to it. I ended up throwing the protector out and getting a separate one from a brick and mortar store.I'd recommend this case if you don't want anything fancy, just protection for your phone. It's light, it's sleek and it does its job. Just make sure to get a real screen protector for your phone.

After owning this case for a couple years I have to upgrade my review and say that case has served me well, still fits well, is easy to put on and take off, and I'd buy it again.The screen protector is obviously designed for some other phone. The bottom of the screen protector overlaps the protruding home button and there is a cutout that must be designed to go around a button on some other phone. I also had the same problem that other reviewers described which is that no matter how careful I tried to be, including wiping my screen with a glasses cloth, I still had dust or specs get stuck under the protector which creates a bubble. All that said, I was really just interested in the case, so after giving the screen protector a valiant try, I just tossed it in the trash.

Screen protector: Removing the sticker for applying the screen protector was very hard and produced some glue left-overs. The screen protector got scratches already in the first week after its application.Case: The case has a really thin and light design. Feels good in ones hand.

I chose the Galaxy S4 Mini phone not only for the price, but for its dimensions. I wanted something that I could carry comfortably in my pocket, which rules out many of the newer tablet-sized smartphones. This case is perfect for the Galaxy S4 Mini, because it provides some level of protection for the phone, but it doesn't detract from it's appearance or add much bulk. Why buy a sleek phone and then put it in a case that looks and feels like you're carrying a museum exhibit around with you? I do not think that the phone would survive a major catastrophe in this case, like being dropped from the roof of a building or immersed in water, but if it slips from your hands and tumbles a couple feet to the ground, this case will keep it from getting chipped or scratched up. The case fits perfectly. Very easy to install. Material has a nice grip feel to it, without being overly rubbery.

I've had my S4 Mini for a couple years. During that time I used a skin in the back and left the frame bare. I also started using this phone for running and have dropped it on large gravel rocks several times. As a result, the silver frame around the phone is all chipped, dented and mangled. It looks so bad that I decided to get a case to cover the frame. This one fits well, covers the frame so you can't tell how bad it actually is, and is still pretty slim for running. The texture seems pretty good for not slipping out of my hand. Serves me well and the phone looks decent now.
