Another win for Fisher-Price in my Household
I have now had this swing for over 3 years, and it is now being used by my youngest. We love all the features this swing has, and the easy controls.Pros:* Easy to assemble as long as you read the instructions* Swings and sways like a cradle* Operates on both AC Adapter and Batteries* Has 3 different sound selections depending on babies mood (Lullaby, Playtime, and Ocean Sounds)* Backed by Fisher Price's great customer serviceCons:* Swing is heavy* Swing makes clicking sound (it is hardly noticable)* AC Adapter cord is a tad short, but still usable* Motor in Discontinued Model can go out after being stored for extended period (Fisher Price replaced this part after troubleshooting with me, even though I am out of warranty)I would recommend this product, as well as the several other Swings made by Fisher-Price, I love their products!

Nice Product a Bit Noisy Though
We really liked this Swing. Our baby seems to enjoy his time in the swing. I am using A/C Power with the Cable which came with it. It makes slight noise when the motor tries to push the Swing back and forth. This swing won't work without manually making it to swing. The motor just keeps up the swing's pace. The Max speed is about perfect for our baby. I really like the music on this swing (It has 3 choices for that) The one with rain forest sounds is really good.We had initially thought that the toys on the top of the swing would rotate, That would have been great, But it does not. Also a little light (Probably blinking or something) would have caught baby's attention.Overall this is a very nice product for the Price range. Our baby goes to sleep without crying much, what else do we want!!

Best Swing for this price...EVER!
LOVE this swing! We have twins so we love that the swing can be positioned to swing front to back or side to side to suite the taste of either of our girls. It has two song options or some nature, seaside, audio. The best part of this swing is that it plugs in, instead of going through countless batteries, simply plug it in and off you go!I have yet to experience anything negative with this swing. Our twins are 2 months old and this swing has gotten a LOT of use and we are thrilled! On a side note, the mobile does not spin around or move (besides the natural movement with the swing.) This does not detract from the quality of the swing to me, just something that I was a bit surprised about.

Our 2 month old baby really likes this swing.
We bought this swing a few weeks ago so we didn't have to keep carrying our baby's bouncy chair to different rooms and also to give him a different kind of stimulation. At first he only liked it when he was awake, then only when it was swinging side to side vs forward and back (for a few days he didn't like it swinging at all). After 2 weeks he now likes it in both directions and loves taking his naps in it. There are two choices for music and one for white noise, at first we tried using the first option for music which sounds more relaxing but quickly realized the more up-beat second option is what he prefers to sleep to.My one complaint is the music automatically shuts off after around 20min and I really wish it didn't since the sudden quiet tends to disturb his sleep. I can turn it right back on he'll continue his nap but I wish there was a way to make it play continually without having to restart it.in regards to the speed, we tend to use the middle one but I really don't feel like there is too much a difference between the fastest and slowest speeds but our baby seems okay with the speed that it rocks.

Great baby swing!
After a lengthy review process to find what we wanted, my wife and I decided on this little swing. I say little, but that would be a lie, these types of swings aren't little. After using it for a short while, I can honestly say I love it. It's a great swing that's easy to use, simple to adjust, and pretty darn cute. Everything is very solid, I was not afraid that it would collapse or fall apart. It's also lighter than it looks, making it easy to move around to different rooms. The music isn't nearly as obnoxious as so many other musical baby toys, almost pleasant to listen to. It's not 100% sunshine and rainbows though.I felt like there was a lot to put together. More than the crib. More than the car seat, stroller or pack and play. The directions are straightforward though, making it easy to put together. The motor makes noise. Most people can drown it out. I have to slam on my brakes if there is something rolling around in my back seat. My wife suggests I may not be able to drive once our daughter becomes more active and starts throwing things, we shall see. Sadly, we've tested other kinds (our friends have all had babies recently it seems) and they all make the same noise. That said, it does make the same level of noise no matter what the speed, so there's no need to worry about it getting louder. It comes with a power cord, but it can run on batteries too. I haven't been able to check the battery life in this, so I can't vouch for it either way. The seat can face forward (rocking side to side), or sideways (rocking forward and backward). This was a nice little touch that makes it more convenient in case your baby prefers one over the other. The seat cover is relatively easy to take off, great for washing. At the same time it has plenty of points where it clips/straps on, so there's no worry about it coming off.

Too slow to soothe
We have the Fisher Price Ocean Wonders swing that worked really well for our older daughter, but it is battery powered. With our second, we decided we should have one that plugs in so that we don't have to worry about keeping extra batteries around. I had read the reviews about the motor, but figured I'd just send it back to Amazon if our motor was bad. The problem with the swing is that it's not clear if the motor is bad. It swings, but not quite fast enough to soothe. We've ended up hardly using this swing and going back to the Ocean Wonders. Thank goodness we kept it!!
