Thermal Blackout Fabric Roller Blind White 060cm

Disappointed with the blind I received. The actual blind is wrapped around an hollow chrome tube which is actually quite substantial and I would imagine it would take some effort to bend the chrome tube as it also has a box section 'rib' running the length of the tube. The blind itself and fitting seem nice quality, and dead easy to fit. Ultimately left with a sour taste in my mouth though, the blind I received the chrome tube was bent, quite badly so, leaving kinks in the metal etc, photo attatched. I could have returned but needed to get a curtain or blind on the window promptly. I used a length of thick wood dowel to go down the chrome tube and both straighten it and strengthen it. I would probably buy again and suspect that I was just unlucky receiving a damaged blind.

Blind areived very fast. Ordered 120cm blind as all window where this exact widh, but u fortunately due to brackets that comes eoth the blind they make the blind much longer than they should be for a 120cm width window frame. Meaning a simple fit was ot possible had to cut blinds and pole to fit which was not easily done. Also cut one pole to short and sellers reply to my message was so vage just sorry it the item you got damaged . Luckily we managed to get blind onto a old roller blind pole but still had to cut the supposed 120cm blind to fit the 120cm window!!

The stars I have given relate to the actual blinds themselves. They’re of decent quality and most definitely blackout. Admittedly, I did see that a lot of people were receiving their blinds damaged but equally, a lot also weren’t so when mine arrived with a bent pole, perhaps I had myself to blame for taking the risk. This is the first issue that could very easily be remedied by the seller. The biggest problem though is the quality - or more accurately, the complete lack of quality - of the fixings. You need an Ology in blind fixing to get these babies up. Completely the wrong fixings were supplied and had to be instantly binned. And the saddest part of all is this is easily rectified if the seller paid attention to the reviews of these products. I’ve bought countless blinds in my time and, without exception, these have come with adequate fixings so there really is no excuse. Would I recommend these - not in the slightest if you value your sanity. If however it’s a lesson in patience and outright determination you are after, I cannot think of a better example than these.

The fixing brackets enclosed with the blind bear no resemblance to the diagram in the fixing instructions and I was not sure how they work. There was no basket for shortening the ball chain loop. If I had not been required to have the blind urgently for visiting friends I would have immediately returned it. I have eventually fitted the blind into the window recess as best I can and such are the brackets that the blind is some distance from the frame and glass and consequently it lets in light which defeats the object of the exercise. Totally unsatisfactory. I would like my money refunded.

The colour and the material is good but the finings are flimsy plastic. These make fitting the blind fiddly. The cord to pull the blind up and down keeps jumping out the cheap plastic bracket and the cord itself is not very robust. The flimsy fitting and fixtures let the blind down and make this a waste of money. It's a shame because the material itself is good. Don't waste your money.

packaging was pristine but on unrolling it fully the center tube was swagged almost flat in 2 places so seems to be factory mishandling. It works but the rotation is eccentric and this make its it jerky and stiff which is less than suitable for the flimsy plastic 'chain' that has to cope with the extra stress. Fortunately I do not expect to raise the blind very often but for weekly let alone daily raising it would be useless.If you buy one unroll it fully and check that center tube before going any further.

Purchased these blinds for my bedroom but had to return at great expense as they were not adequately covering the windows. There is quite a difference when measuring in centimetres and inches, 120cm is not 48 inches, not the fault of the seller.To be told that I will only be refunded for the blinds and not the return costs after arranging a return leaves a lot to be asked hence my saying don't rush to buy these items because of the price. The return actually costs more than one of the blinds. For me it's a loss I could have done without but a lesson learnt and the products have been returned. There is another saying buy cheap and pay twice which is so true in this case.

This blind was a lot better than I thought it would be. Blackout works well easy to fit and usage is easy to manage for anyone who has problems with there hands as well as people who don’t. I purchased 3 of these blinds because they were ideal.
