Ultracom2 600M Black Wireless Intercom with Handset & Hood (Black Hood)

Installed on a driveway gate about 250m from house (with clear line of sight). Or unit had lots of strange problems when powered off PSU so tech support suggested running on battery - we did this and problems went away. The problem we now have is that 50% of the time the audio doesn't work - we can hear the person at the gate but they cant hear us. Guess its down to the battery power. Also due to design you cant use the gate open buttons until somebody has actually pressed the intercom.So when it works its a great bit of kit but sadly its a very very expensive solution that only partially works.Would I buy again - most definitely not
