They do serve a purpose and function well. I was mislead by the photos and thought the web portion was longer. It really is quite short (1 inch?). I would have preferred a longer reach which would let the hooks fall further down below the seat back. I may modify one using zip ties to see if the longer reach is better. I DO think they are better than the hard plastic ones. They also can be spun around to either front of seat or back of seat very easily. Just wish they were a couple of inches longer....

These are great! I would only caution before clipping onto rod to make sure your headrest is totally removeable or I can't see any way they could be removed otherwise. Once snapped into place the "hole" for the rod is barbed to prevent it from falling off. I used these to hang grocery bags on coming home from the store. It's a 17 mile trip and usually the bags are all over the backseat floor. The grandkids love the water bottle holder!

I've been using these for a couple weeks now and they seem built to last. Perfect for my backpack, which (with a gallon of water, lunch, laptop, and miscellany) probably weighs between 12 and 15lbs. Highly recommend.

Love these. I have been buying them for friends. My purse was always flying off the seat when I had to stop the car suddenly. Maybe I should slow down but these fixed the purse falling problem. :-)

I like these hooks because I could hang bags to keep them from flying or rolling all over the floor of my vehicle. When grocery shopping I'm able to hang the smaller bags of fragile items to keep them intact. They are great for holding eggs, etc. It frees up the floor for heavier items.

I should have paid attention to reviews. It should be either adjustable or another 2 inches longer. Otherwise I’m pretty happy with it. I’m sure I can modify them and / or find other places besides the car for use.

I LOVE these !! perfect for hanging bags you don;t want flying around on the seat or tipping over. I use mine all the time! I left the pair I had in the van I traded in so had to order a set for this car... will not have a car without them !

They're exactly what I was looking for! sturdy and they don't hang down too long. Keep my work bag and purse in a great place behind my car seat and don't take up any noticeable space when not being used. Great price for a set of 4!
