Unbeatable for the price -- perhaps even 5 times the price. I'm in heaven!
For the price, this is unrealistically amazing. I threw this in my 2012 Camaro SS to power my active component setup running off my Alpine H800 and Nexus 7 2013 tablet. Man does this thing deliver. People like to squawk about D-class amps and how they supposedly sound 'unnatural,' Nope. Not one bit. This thing has power for days. At ~4ohms for my tweets in the front, and the rear channels handling my 4ohm woofers, this thing screams. I cannot express how loud and crisp my setup gets with the convertible TOP DOWN. Racing down the mountain jamming out to every little auditory nuance is definitely my style.I was actually surprised how much bass my door drivers put out and how handily this amp delivers, even with 4-ohm on a single channel. At the price, this thing is insane. I absolutely plan on buying the mono version for a subwoofer install coming up. This is coming from a guy who has used exclusively brands like Elemental Designs amps, deep-basket long-throw subs, and DLS Gothia components in active, (no static crossover,) configuration. I love my feel my music, and this amp delivers that, while surprisingly providing crystal-clear audio. I am very picky and I have no complaints of the audio quality. Sounds totally natural for all genres of music.

Awesome amp in a small package...
I just recently installed this amp in a 2012 Ford F150 FX4 with Sync, and no sony/nav unit.I used the speaker level inputs. No "trigger" or turn-on wire is required when using the speaker level inputs. The amp senses an input signal, and automatically powers up, then powers down when the signal is removed (by shutting down the head unit). Just tapped into the speaker wire in the channel under the door sill cover, and routed the wiring to the back of the rear seat where the amp is mounted. Super easy. I swapped out the factory Chinese paper cone speakers in all 4 doors with Infinity Kappa 6X8's which are specified at 2 ohm load each, so this amp is used as a true 4-channel setup. No bridging. I guess I didn't need to go with so much power... half volume and my ears feel like they want to start bleeding. Sound quality is remarkable. The high power allows for plenty of headroom, and it doesn't lack at all. Tight bass, airy, whispery highs, just what I wanted, and it runs as cool as the other side of the pillow. I'd buy this amp again in a heartbeat. Nice screw terminals for wiring, even has a set of RCA outs for daisy-chaining another to amp, which will be very handy when it comes time for a sub under the rear seat. I'm seriously thinking of another amp identical to this, and bridging the 4 channels to 2 for a stereo sub setup. Love this amp.

This amplifier is underrated and rocks!
I have been running this amplifier to infinity ref 6x9s in the front doors of my 2014 Silverado and a Kicker CompR 43CWR122 12" Dual 2-ohm wired up as 4 ohm using the rear channels bridged under the backseat. I love my music loud and regularly play it there! I have had no issues with this amplifier for a year now and it just keeps on cranking! I don't know if quality control was a problem due to the bad reviews but I cannot give anything but praise for this amp. Presumably some people had shorting wiring issues causing dropped channels (people regularly mess this simple stuff up). Be careful with your wiring and you shouldn't have any problems. I just bought a second GM-8604 to put in my boat this summer and I can't wait to rock the lake with it!! Check out some youtube videos of this amp getting tested on an amp dyno, this amp was putting out 550 watts x 2 at 2 ohms bridged!! severely underrated by the manufacturer, but i cannot speak to the durability at these levels. This is actually stable at 1 ohm per channel (thus 2 ohms bridged) which provides the utmost versatility for your audio desires. I suspect i will be purchasing at least one more of these for my other car in the future.

Works for me
I use this to push 4 pioneer 6.5" door speakers, rated at 300 each (i think) off an aftermarket Boss head unit. I have it crossed over with the bass mostly pulled out and it pushes the mids and highs with no distortion and no problems. Standard hook up. Works well. Doesn't get hot. Looks good. Reasonably priced in comparison to others of same power. I probably under-use it, but I have no worries about pushing it too hard.

Loud and clear
I have this amp behind a Pioneer DEH9400BH head unit and pishing a set of Infinity Kappa 509CS (Front) and Kappa 629I (Rear) in a Cherokee. The clarity is incredible, and the speakers alone can pust an esimated 100db+ undistored (can completely drown out a Jeep with a Flowmaster 50 cat back, running 60 MPH, with the windows down in highway traffic). The crossover control is very handy for setting the speakers sound range, and the CEA-2006 terminals are very easy to work with for the speaker, and power wires. I have the gains set for 4V (mathches the H/U) and even when I forgot about the potential volume and turned it up ~2/3 (when I estimated the 100db ability) the Amp stayed very cool. I have it mounted under the passenger bucket seat so it gets ample air flow. I have no intention of bridging it, or running it at full volume, but I am certain it would withstand such rude conditions. Full disclosure, during install, I set this Amp on top of an overturned bucket while I was running wires. Accidentally knocked it off, and it landed on concrete. Seems totally unaffected, so I don't worry about vibration from dirtroads, or even field roads hurting it.As I mentioned, the Amplifier is CEA compliant, so you know what you are getting.
