Fantastic for Cracked Heels and Rough Feet
I bought this cream on the recommendation of my dermatologist. She noticed my cracked heels at my yearly appointment and said that this cream will help. She was so right! I have seen two different podiatrists over the years for cracked heels and have tried countless "miracle" lotions and heel balms. My heels were crusty and cracked. The cracks would sometimes get so deep they would bleed. I was too embarrassed to take a yoga class because I was self conscious about my bare feet. Nothing has worked until Excipial. I have only used it for about a week and the cracks are almost completely gone! The lotion is kinda runny and dries to a chalky finish. I put it on, throw on a pair of soft socks and sleep. My feet have never been this soft! I will say that I always wash my hands after because I don't like that chalky feeling on my palms. Highly recommend this product!!!

Healed my rough skin
I bought this Excipal lotion because I was given a trial small at my dermatologist's office. The sample was 10% Urea and it worked very well on some rough skin that I had. This is 20% Urea and It works even better. It is a generous tube and very little cream is needed to be effective. I had some healing chigger bites and from all of the scratching my skin was rough on my legs.( I am a woman and I do love to have silky legs!) I saw and FELT an improvement overnight. I did not experience any redness or adverse reactions to the lotion. I do not know how it works but that does not matter to me. What I am excited about are the results. I am ordering another tube to keep in my cabinet.

If you have eczema, give it a try.
I'm a guy with some type of persistent eczema on my hands, but have never gone to see a doctor about it and it has gotten worse. I had a bad flare up (red, itchy, bumpy, somewhat swollen fingers/back of hands) and after reading about others giving urea containing lotions a good recommendation, I gave this stuff a try. Wow! My hands haven't looked or felt this good in some time. Within a day or so, I could notice a big difference. It's only been a a little over a week of using this stuff twice or so a day, but the results have been great. Very impressed! Rough patches are gone. Skin is smooth. Even a small scar has improved. It feels as if I've been cured. Note: I have used and continue to use one other lotion. I have recently bought a Eucerin product with urea, but from what I've read, it's only 10% urea. I use this Eucerin product more frequently (e.g., after washing hands) as this can be bought in stores and comes in a larger container.Update 1: it's been several weeks and I'm still in awe on how well lotions with urea have worked for me. I've also noticed how well this stuff in particular drys on my hands. It doesn't leave any greasiness.Update 2: Well, I think I need to drop down my review from 5 stars to 3 stars. Initially, this stuff was great. However, my eczema has returned. I've tried to use this consistently, but it does't seem to have held. Which is disappointing as it really was great early on.Update 3: Still using this product after a few months. Better than most lotions that I've tried. Actually, it's the best I've tried. I'll bump it up to 4 stars.

It was recommended to me by a colleague to try this cream ...
It was recommended to me by a colleague to try this cream for those weird little bumps some people, including myself, have on my arms (keratosis pilaris, for those wondering what the technical term is). The urea ingredient is supposed to help get rid of them. While I haven't had them completely go away, they've definitely gotten less pronounced and numerous. Obviously this is not medical advice and is just my personal experience, so if you think you might have something similar a trip to the dermatologist is a good idea to confirm you don't have something more serious. It also moisturizes pretty well. Best of all, a little goes a long way. I've been using this almost daily for a few months now and haven't even gone through half the tube.

BEST DRY SKIN TREATMENT . . . EVER!!!
Best dry skin treatment . . . ever!!! I got a sample of this at my dermatologist's office. My legs were super dry after the winter and the fact that I'm in a chlorine swimming pool for water aerobics 5 times a week. I put this on 3 nights in a row after my shower, before I went to bed. Within 3 days my dry skin was gone. I use it now a couple times a week, and my 65 year old skin feels like I'm 25 again. I was so thrilled with it, I bought it for 3 of my girlfriends. Two of them absolutely loved it. The other is diabetic and said it did help her, but didn't work quite as well due to her diabetes.

wasn't as good as I was hoping
wasn't as good as I was hoping...recommended by dermatologist but you 'd really have to be conscientous about using it twice a day in large quantities...daily. I wasn't.

Great product, great customer service!
I'm very happy with this product. My podiatrist recommended 20-40% urea cream to keep a recurrent corn from reappearing so frequently. I decided to also use it on my cracked heels, and in a few days, the difference is incredible. There were many choices out there. I wrote to this company to see whether the cream was tested on animals and whether the urea is synthetic. Both are important to me as an animal-loving vegan. Customer service wrote back within a couple hours with this very satisfactory answer: "Thank you for your inquiry. Our manufacturer has confirmed that Excipial(tm) products are not tested on animals. The urea used in Excipial(tm) 20% Urea Intensive Healing Cream is synthetic urea formed from ammonia and carbon dioxide." I highly recommend!
