Better than original and USB can charge Tab 2 10.1 tablet.
Excellent Product with multiple benefits, power house.I'm on the road constantly and my original lap top (Dell) charger cable had become damaged at the point where it enters the transformer. I picked up one of these at an electronics vendor at Houston airport (Sound Balance Kiosk E24). They were very helpful in matching the tips and ensured that it was working before I left the store.During a recent trip I forgot to pack the OEM/Original charger for my Galaxy 2 10.1. I learned that the supplied USB cord that comes with the Samsung Galaxy 2 10.1 is not sufficient to charge the device efficiently. You can nurse it along, but once it dies completely the Tab 2 will keep trying to boot up, fail then charge, then fail etc, without ever either charging or coming on.The Tab 2 10.1 documentation indicates that it requires:5V @ 2AThe USB output of my laptop (and most laptops) is:5v @ 500mAI purchased a Rocket Fish "Universal" tablet/eReader wall charger from Best Buy, in Gurnee, IL after consulting with one of the blue shirts. It was supposed to provide:5V @ 2.1 ampWhen I got back to my hotel I realized that the device had the same problem as the under-powered laptop USB output.I was very frustrated and then the thought occurred to me that my iGo Ac Power Adapter model 6630096-0100B had a USB port right on the adapter. I checked the specs on the adapter and it indicated that the USB port was:5V @ 2.1 ampWhen I plugged my Tab 2 10.1 in, the loop behavior stopped and I got a battery icon with gold charging bands moving consistently across the screen. Then fired up with 24% power after about 30 minutes. In addition to fixing my problem this also gives me another available USB port for charging in general. For a wireless era, there sure are a lot of wires and chargers.1: Laptop, Dell Studio XPS (With only 2 USB Ports working)2: Tab 2 10.13: Iphone with 750mA Mophie case4: Motorola Android Razr Maxx5. Plantronics Voyager Legend Bluetooth6. Bose Comfort 3 headphones7. EGO Electronic Cigarette chargerFortunately with the exception of the Plantronics Voyager and the Bose headphones, all are Micro USB, so I can get a lot of use out of just 2 cables. Also for pro-tip: The Motorola Droid Razr Maxx must use the OEM cable to charge for some reason.

Good Deal
I have an HP 8460W Elite laptop. The problem is it comes with a charger by HP that is heavy and worse yet uses a three prong grounded US power lead. Somehow it has missed HPs attention that this is a portable device. Overall I would say that the iGo charger and cord are about half the weight and much more compact.A few clarifications to the Vendor's add above:This is a refurbished unit. You do not get the handy igo travel bag.Does NOT include USB cable (there is a USB charging port). You do get ALL eight power tips (not just just tip 701 as the add implies). The igo model number for this device is: 6630096-0100 BEdit (January 2019):Still the best travel charger I have seen. I am now have a total of three (for different laptops). The 2 Amp USB port is great for charging cell phones as well.
