My Book of Mormon Study Squares: A Lesson in Every Chapter Paperback – May 7, 2015

I LOVE this book so much. You get 4 chapters per page, and for each chapter there is a space to doodle (or write) an important lesson or theme from the chapter, and a place to write the reference to your favorite scripture from the chapter. Shannon Foster has really done her studying, and has a great way of making scripture study fun and interesting. There is a reading chart to mark your progress at the front of the book, and throughout the book there are page illustrations that help explain important themes, lessons, or stories from the Book of Mormon. The book is in full color, and goes all the way through to the end of the Book of Mormon. She has also taken the time to give page headings for each page in the Book of Mormon so you can mark your book for quick and easy descriptions. I really like that feature, so when I'm flipping through and I land on a page, I can tell what the page is about quickly without having to search for the chapter heading.

I realized that this was a book for juniors when I ordered it. I learned more while preparing and teaching lessons in primary than any other time. So your book of squares has been absolutely wonderful at bringing back to the pure basic doctrine of the church. Thank you for recommending it.

Great study tool. Keeps me thinking about what I’m reading and holds me accountable with prompts to summarize my thoughts of each chapter. Also has neat charts and references to help with Biblical connections.

Great way to start the new year. Study the scriptures in a new way and color your thoughts into the book.

It's okay. Not as awesome as I thought it would be. Pages with squares you fill in. You can get a piece of paper and do the same thing.

Shame on the author! I am an artist who thought this would be a fun book. What a disappointment! All these are, are pages of square areas to write in thoughts of each verse. This could be made at home by drawing squares and labeling the verses at the top! The price is utterly ridiculous! Also, it should be spiral bound to allow ease of use.

My daughter loves this book. Encourages her to be creative and want to read and study.

Excited to use

I love this study companion for reading my Book of Mormon. It has added another dimension to my study because I try to get something noteworthy from each and every chapter. I wish the borders around each page were not so large, and that the study squares would take up more of the page. I end up using the borders around to page for my note-taking overflow.
