Tanologist Self Tanner Mousse, Dark Self Tan Mousse, 6.76 Fl Oz

This is FABULOUS tanner! It is not orangey colored, and has a very mild scent. The mousse version dried super fast, and I used the dark version and it was instantly tan. I could smooth out the areas to avoid streaks by seeing the color tone as I spread it around. I washed my hands thoroughly to remove the tanner from turning them too dark. I had the best tan I have had in a very long time, and I have used many sunless tan products over the years. This one looked like a genuine tan, and lasted almost a whole week and still looked good at the end of the week. I did use lotion to keep my skin from getting too dry and to extend the life of the tan. This is now my go-to tanner. The price is decent too. I tried the face drops and they made my face break out, but I put the mousse on my face and haven’t had any problems with it. Hope this product stays around because I am now addicted to it. It’s really nice having a nice tan everyday!! 😊

Easy to apply and smelled nice. I got the medium shade for my legs and only one application got me to a nice tan color. I got the light shade for my upper body since I’m darker there. It applies smoothly without streaks. I made sure to moisturize a couple hours before and not put too much tanner on my feet/hands/elbows and knees. It does take several hours to develop, so apply before going to sleep and you’ll wake up to a nice tan. It didn’t stain my sheets either.

I like how easy it is to spread the mousse. The smell out of the container isn't bad but as it sits it has a strong not pleasant smell. I got the light because I already have olive skin tone so I just wanted everything even. It looks nice is a tad orange but not bad enough for other people to really notice. I slept with it on and showered in the morning. It isn't a sticky feel when on but doesn't feel like it completely dries, but not a reason for me to not use it. I have never used the darker colors. My daughter has and she likes the product and it looks beautiful on her skin. I took off a star because of the smell.

I have done many self tanners and this one is by far the best glow. I got scared trying a transparent foam the first time I used it but it has honestly been the most even tan ever. I use this as my every week glow and it looks so natural. It also is not as stinky as the other self tanners or sticky. I sleep in it overnight and wake up glowing! I love it so much it was the tanner I trusted to apply 2 nights before my wedding and still glowed. Looked so good

I really like this self-tanner! The mousse is easy to apply and spreads evenly, making it much easier to get a smooth, natural-looking tan. I also like that the dark shade gives a more noticeable color without having to use a huge amount of product. It’s easy to work into the skin with a tanning mitt, and the mousse makes it simple to see where you’ve applied it. The bottle is also a convenient size for keeping in my bathroom or taking along when traveling. Overall, a great self-tanner for anyone who wants a deeper, bronzed look without spending a lot of time at a salon.

This self Tanner has a green base which is ideal for those with cool undertones (pink and red tones to skin) as it cancels out the orange. This is the 1 hour express and it’s very true to that factor in regard to color development. In my opinion there is no need to leave it on for more than 1 hour because you’ll end up orange no matter what. I have pale olive skin that tans very with Mediterranean features so this tanner is perfect for me. The only issue is that because it develops so well in only 1 hour it’s hard to blend it around the wrist and on the hands. For my hands add the tanner after the 30 minute mark so the tanner is only on my hands for 30 minutes. This is the best way to avoid a bad tan on the hands. Also make sure you moisturize the hands and wrist area really good before applying the tanner. Same with feet. Also the longevity of this tanner is really good, it last a decent time.

I’ve used a lot of tanners and this one meets and misses the mark in several areas. Pros: -It is clear and does not transfer so going to bed prior to applying is great for the sheets! This is probably my favorite pro! -It is faster than most mousse tans I’ve used! You can apply within 6 hours of an event and be several shades darker! -It lasts 5-6 days with one application! I shower everyday (no judgement if you don’t) but I was really surprised at how long this lasted with one application! Cons: -The smell is pretty awful and will linger until it washes off! Not ideal for leaving the house or if you like your partner sleeping with you! 🫢 -The color is a bit too orange for me personally! Even though the color lasts longer, the orange pigment isn’t my favorite. -It’s clear so you better make sure you hit every spot! It does not show up while applying! -Even with double gloves and lotion this stuff just wants to stick to your hands! I believe I purchased the medium mousse and I’ll use it until it’s gone but wouldn’t repurchase. Hope this helps!

Pros: the color is a great summer glow! The smell is actually pretty good which is unusual for self tanners Cons: there’s no guide color so you have to make sure you pay attention when putting the product on, especially on your back. It does transfer so be careful on white or if you have blond hair, make sure it’s fully pulled back after it’s applied and after you wash it off. Even after washing with soap, and using a wipe, there is still product coming off, so protect your beautiful blond mane by keeping all hair off your face and neck (so you won’t turn brassy- and blond shampoo won’t fix it either!!) All in all- I really love this self tanner and I use it weekly. But if you are buying it thinking it’s fully fool proof and non transferring, it’s not!

Grande habituée des autobronzants, je découvre celui ci avec émerveillement ! Zéro traces et pourtant malgré le gant et mon ancienneté dans la pratique, ce n’est jamais évident. Et le résultat dure vraiment une bonne semaine sans parfum de noisette grillée ni décoloration en mosaïque. Je l’adopte ✨

Applies nicely on application but doesn’t give a dark tan and it goes SO patchy after a couple of days despite moisturising daily. Won’t be repurchasing
