It's a bottle. It holds liquids and has not leaked on me. Protein shakes taste more proteiny and water taste more watery. Going to see if it makes alcohol more alcoholic.... will update.

I've purchased 21 of these bottles so I could have 3 shakes per day and not stress over dishes more than once per week.It worked well for a while, but the lids keep breaking. There's a fine line between not tightening them enough and having them leak everywhere when you go to shake them, or tightening them too much and causing the plastic to split at the top -in which case they leak everywhere.I know few things are made to last a lifetime, but I do take really good care of my all my things, and I am disappointed by how quickly these broke. It can also be quite inconvenient or unpleasant if you dont notice and then spill a protein shake down the front of your clothes.

I received my protein powder a day before I received the shaker bottle. So, on night one, I tried to mix my protein shake by dumping a scoop of powder into a plastic cup, adding milk, and mixing it with a spoon. It wasn't my greatest decision, and resulted in super-clumpy, mediocre-tasting protein shake.Flash forward a day, and I mix the powder and milk using the shaker bottle. GAME CHANGER. Using the same process and ingredients and the shaker bottle, I made a smooth, tasty protein shake without all the clumps of powder at the bottom. The bottle is easy to open and close, quick to rinse or wash, and the ball at the bottom is both useful and extremely fun to play with (outside of the bottle, of course). I highly recommend this shaker if you're in the market for one.

Works for shakes... but my stainless steel water bottle broke, so I tried using my blender bottle for water. Quickly gives water a really awful plastic flavor.I thought maybe I didn't wash it well enough. So I dumped the water, washed it really well, and tried again. Filled it with cold water from the fridge. Within about an hour at room temperature (I keep my house at a cool 64 degrees), the water has a really potent plastic flavor. Makes me really question using this cup at all. The taste is so bad, I can't drink the water. I can't imagine how much plastic is in it. Probably get another stainless steel or glass bottle for my water, and rethink what I make my shakes in.For shakes... I would've given this 5 stars. But now that I've tried drinking water from it, I'd give it 0 stars. Doesn't seem safe!

+ Durability is nice.+ Bottle looks sleek.+ Carrying handle is nice.- An absolute nightmare to open, ya know, the BASICS of a bottle. I genuinely hate how hard it is to open.- Slim and long, but get ready to buy a bottle brush to clean it. Using your hand, especially when you have bigger hands, is kind of painful trying to jam a sponge down into it.- The blender is fine but absolutely DOES NOT completely break up the protein powder. In fact: it's about average in how terribly it operates per the other bottles I've owned.Ok look. If you're here because of the "blender bottle tech" then find another bottle. It mixes at best adequately and most often poorly. It's also not only a pain to clean but, SOMEHOW, a complete pain to open the mouthpiece of. At least it works as a bottle and somewhat shakes...

I should start by saying that I value my time and tend to go the path of least time-commitment when it comes to eating. Enter the BlenderBottle Classic Loop Top Shaker. It’s not the easiest lid to pop shut, so make sure you really push down until it’s closed. Otherwise you’ll be cleaning up a big ol’ mess. Assuming you can do that part right, it does the job of blending protein drinks perfectly. That brings us to parts two and three; Chocolate-flavored Molk from Jocko and Four Sigmatic with Lion’s Mane. I’ve had a couple runs (13+ miles) where I’ve capped it off with the protein powder coupled with the instant coffee over water. What a perfect combo! I tried the protein powder by itself with water and it was missing something. I didn’t want to go with milk, so instead I grabbed the coffee out of the pantry. Usually runs of this distance in July and August will leave me drained for hours and in need of a nap but grabbing some fast protein and a smidge of smart caffeine takes away all the usual post-run drag. If you’re looking for a way to liven up your post-run mornings/afternoons, this is the way to go.

I was very excited to receive this shaker bottle so I could start drinking healthy shakes as meal replacements. I'm happy with it so far. It was packaged nicely and it mixed my shake well. The lid snaps very tightly and so far appears to be leak proof. I really like the pink color. I'm very happy with this purchase and the price was great too.

tl;dr good bottle but will break after a while...not a +20$ bottle, Originally bought for 9.99 and they were good for that price.I bought many of these back when they were 10$ (9.99), They are very good bottles but it seems there is an issue with continuous use as after awhile the lid will "break" making whatever is in it leak. Now considering how long I have these for and considering how much I use them this isn't too much of an issue for me since I originally bought a bunch for 9.99$ CADHowever now they are over 20$, over DOUBLE the price. This is an unacceptable price for the quality of these bottles.I have another bottle that is higher in quality who's price only went up by a few dollars (they were both the same at the time). That is an easier pill to swallow since that bottles quality was much better and took longer for a similar issue to happen.I have no idea what brought on the price increase but I hope it was worth it. I bought many of these bottles and now I will not buy anymore.

I've washed these twice so far, and they still smell VERY strongly of plastic. Haven't used them for protein shakes, because I really doubt that this is a food safe plastic. It seems like it might be an Amazon-only knockoff of a blender bottle. It says BPA free on it, but even after weeks in the cupboard, it still smells very strongly.

Bought this bottle as a replacement to my blender bottle v1 that had a cracked lid. This bottle is very nice;- doesn't leak- holds a decent amount of liquid- easy to reach in and clean- solid and sturdycons;- smells like china plastic, very distinct; has been 3-4 weeks and smell is not entirely gone yet.

The bottle is very ergonomic and fits fine in most cupholders/sides of backpacks and the mechanism to open/close the lid is very easy to use. I use this bottle for both the gym and school. It's super versatile and fairly durable.The bottle also has the blenderball. It' mixes protein powders fairly well. After shaking it, you should be able to break up the powder and have it blend into the drink, but you might get a little powder chunk here and there. It depends on the powder you use and how much you shake it. Overall, this bottle's pretty well made.I did however, have the bottle break on me when I dropped it from waist height onto concrete. Try to avoid drops as this bottle isn't resistant to falls.

This arrived very quickly and is exactly what I was looking for. Its big enough for my protein shakes and durable enough that I can probably use it for a long time which is what I wanted. However, a few months into buying this it became really tough to open and especially close the lid. I had a few instances where I thought I had closed it, starting shaking it, and spilled half-mixed protein shake all over my kitchen. I am a 5"4' woman and I have to put all my weight on the lid to get it closed now which is somewhat annoying, but also comforting to know it will never spill. Overall I think when this bottle finally dies I will try another brand, sorry.
