Excellent quality, nice features for the price
I bought this to remove about 6 oz of oil I overfilled in a Porsche engine (2002, still has dipstick). It did the job perfectly, but of course it's a little slow with viscous oil (5W-40). I was still able to extract what I needed and get the level below the top fill line. I liked that there's a collar nut on the spindle of the plunger that I could spin down and it would keep the plunger up and let the suction keep pulling fluid without me having to hold the plunger up manually... it takes a while to suck that oil up due to it's thickness. It cleaned up fine, super simple to use and the price is as good as anything I've seen - and WAY better than a cheap plastic syringe I was looking at for a similar price.

Quality
It’s nice to know that you can still find quality products at a good price. Upon receiving this syringe I immediately noticed the quality. The plastic is nice and thick in the body of the syringe. The plunger has (what appears to be) a silicone seal. The threaded rod connected to it is brass with measurement markings on it, and the plastic handle is well made thick plastic. I like the brass nut on the threaded rod (which connects to the plunger), as this can easily be spun down with your finger once you’ve pulled back on the handle. This feature allows you to effortlessly hold the plunger up, while the suction created pulls the liquid up the tube, into the syringe. I also like, that the tube comes with a green cap and a Velcro band keeps the tube neatly attached with the syringe for storage.I recently used this to suck the oil out of a Brigs & Stratton engine on a Little Wonder leaf blower, during an annual oil change. Using this syringe, it was a lot quicker and cleaner than removing the oil drain plug and having the oil spill onto the tire. My only complaint is that because the tube diameter is small, it takes a little while for liquids to fill the syringe. This is a minor complaint. The small tubing is beneficial in allowing you to get this into small openings. I wish had this when I was changing the trim & tilt hydraulic fluid on my outboard motor, as this would have saved me a lot of aggravation. All in all, this is worth the money! If you’ve ever worked with the other “traditional” style of syringes, over time the black rubber plunger gets hard and eventually stuck in the syringe, or worse, when you need it the most in the middle of a job, it disconnects from the plastic plunger and gets stuck in the syringe. I’m done with that!

Beer Withdrawals Take Two...
Well, now. This little (figuratively - it's actually large-ish) syringe is quite nice. Comes with a cute little (clear) resealable clutch type bag for storage of it, the tubing, and the spare seals. The seal between the plunger and the cylinder wall is surprisingly good, enough so that if the cover is on the tip of the tubing, one can't draw the plunger much off the bottom of the cylinder without it rebounding to the zero volume marker. That the seal is replaceable and silicone to boot is an added bonus since it won't mar the inside of the cylinder and can be replaced once it wears.Other great features include the adjustable volume draw (via turning a nut on the plunger shaft) and the ability to disassemble the syringe completely for thorough cleaning. There's also plenty of tubing for several lengths to be cut and interchanged (depending on your application).I'll be using this for withdrawing beer samples from various carboys as they near the end of fermentation. This particular syringe will take over main duty from the one previous (different style/manufacturer). The older syringe will be relegated to sours and other funky beers in efforts to reduce the likelihood of contamination of normal batches. If you can't tell, I'm highly impressed with this thing. Can't wait to brew more batches and press it into service again and again. Price is quite agreeable as well. Less expensive than my old syringe and of higher quality.

Worked great, but is not for use with corrosive materials!
Used this to add some gear oil to the rear differential in my car - worked great. After the job I was cleaning things up with some brake cleaner so I sprayed the brake cleaner in and on this syringe and the plastic instantly cracked and started to crumble - never seen something like that before... Checked the package and it says not to be used with corrosive materials. So if you're planning on using this to work on your car, don't try to clean it out with brake cleaner - it will fall apart. This thing was really well-made and if used correctly, seemed like it would last quite a while.

Didn't hold up to gasoline
Worked great until I used it to suck some old gas out of my snowblower . Plastic cracked .
