Excellent for the price
I only got the today, so it is a bit early to comment on longevity, but I thought I'd let anyone consdering getting this item as a cheap second or maybe even third laptop or tablet, or as in this case both what my initial thoughts are. I like it, it has a few things that could be better, but then doesn't everything and for the price and what I want it for it is certainly worth 5 stars, for now anyway.I work in IT so spend a lot of my time around laptops but not much with tablets well not at work. I've been using this for a few hours now with no problem. I'm not going to comment on the OS other than I chose this especially as it has windows 10 rather than one of the oher choices out there. I have an Android phone and have an iMac and macbook at home. I have favourites for all the aspects of my life including design (mac) office practice (windows) and well I must admit I prefer Android phones to Apple and waved goodbye to Windows phones a long time ago. I also have an iPad and a Kindle Fire both of which are first generation but still working so for them longevity is a positive :) but wanted to try something else, so here it is my first Windows tablet, no wait I mean my other wndows laptop. Okay the other one is my works one and it is an HP, bigger screen but surprisingly enough comparing the 2 today the screen on this is much sharper, brighter and videos are a delight to watch, I jumped between the two on my Prime video and this is so much better. I must add my HP is high spec with 16gb of ram so it is fast, but then so is this, it did lag a little bit behind my laptop for start up and intial openng of apps etc, but it's doing fine now. I'm typing this while playing Amazon Music on it and although my android phone has better sound (this one is a little tinny) this hasn't buffered at all but my Android does on occassion so this is just as accepable as my phone but a lot less acceptble than my works Dell all in one with 4 large speakers built into it. It's just one of those area's where you get what you pay for :) and for the price of this I'm still saying 5 stars, If I had paid the same price for my Anroid phone, my iMac or my macbook they would all be sitting at 10 stars on this review, but as they all cost more then maybe in their price ranges I would be hovering beween 4 and 5 stars for all of them, no wait the iMac would still be on a 10 :) but for the versatility of this item, the quality against price and its overall useability yup still 5. I've mainly used it with the keyboard attached so far, but I did split it apart ealier to get a feel for the tablet side and although I can't comment on the newest generation of iPad this as a tablet feels as good and is lighter and easier to manage than the 1st generation iPad I bought this to eventually replace. The screen is bigger and sharper than that too but it is old and I can't justify the price of a new iPad but beleive me if I could I'd be sitting writing a review on the iPad pro right now but I'd probably still be looking for a proper keyboard to type reviews. The keyboard took a litlte bit of getting used to, for nothing other than normally the keyboard part of a lpatop is heavier as all the gubbins are usually underneath it, but here the screen is heavier so I have been a little put off when trying to adjust the angle of the screen and the track pa is small and doesn't have the same functions as the trackpad on either my HP laptop or my macbook, but a quick fix here is to use the screen for zooming in and out and none of my apple products can do that, none are touch screen, neither is my HP oh but my Dell all in one is, but then its a desk top machine and I never feel the need to touch that screen :)I woried when waiting for this that it wouldn't come with a UK plug on but it did, one thing to watch out for when setting up is the keyboard set up as on mine anyway the @ and the " are in the same place as my windows machne but the @ sign is missing and shows " on both keys above the 2 and the ' not a biggy for me as I'm used to switching betwen the 2 anyway, @ is defiitely above the ' on this one :) . I like the added extra of the rubber key cover I must admit as I always worry about spillages and crumbs and beleive me that's bad enough when its your own, but having to clean up other peoples messy keyboards isn't nice when they bring their works laptops back in coz the keys are stuck YUCK! I'm not the biggest fan of windows 10 but it is better than many of windows previous attempts and I use it for work, but this is the first home addition I have used and it is just as jumpy (jumping between screens) as the professional one which is probably a little worse on this one as the keyboard is just that bit smaller than my 13 inch HP laptop and I'm balancing this one on the arm of my setee, something I don't do with the HP but then I've bought this so I can browse the web while watching the telly and my computer desk just faces he wrong way :) must learn not to lean on the keyboard :) The one real downside on this is the memory, I'm used to 250gb to 1tb hard drives but the memory in this is almost used up with just the operating system and a few added apps, so I have put a 65gb micro sd in the slot which will give me a fair bit of storage space and I guess if I use that all up I can just get a bigger one, but then prmarily this is going to be my go to web browsing machine which mainly consists of a bit of internet shopping and social media so it should be absolutely fine as it is with the added bonus of my Prime music nd video and iTunes which is one of those extras taking up the intiial space :) Oh yeah and the battery power semes to be good too, charged up, watched videos been on here writing reviews and doing all the rest for about 3 hours now and the batery is showing that it is down to 40% which for the useage seems really good, time will tell if its a keeper but for now I am more thn happy with my purchase.

Great value. Compact laptop. Useful touchscreen. Detachable tablet.
Has an American keyboard. Similar to UK but not identical. Otherwise, perfect for daily use. Bargain price. Fast delivery with Amazon Prime.

Jumper laptop.
I purchased this for partner as her laptop packed up she is pleased with the performance as this one is less than half the price as her old one.

Good price, but not a very good product
I had to return the laptop as it was defective. The tablet wouldn't properly connect to the keyboard, one side wouldn't stay attached to it. The touchscreen wasn't working properly. It was very slow, and the material isn't great, I felt like it was gonna break after a few months. Maybe I was just unlucky, but I preferred to return it and spend a bit more money to buy a laptop from another brand.

Highly recommend
Works well, no problems with setup and battery last about a day with casual use. Would highly recommend and is powerful enough to play games on.

Great price but comes with problems
They do say you get what you pay for but I am still disappointed. The volume can barely be heard at 100% so I have had to buy a small Bluetooth speaker. Also, It’s a struggle to make video calls during the pandemic. In addition some of the symbols on the keyboard don’t correlate correctly. For example the @ button shows over the figure 2 but it is actually the double quotation mark! Too many problems even at this price hence only three stars

Faulty and had to return/ increasingly slow laptop
Had to return as was defective . Speakers buzzed when playing any sound . The laptop was also increasingly slow from the moment I first started it up. Didn’t keep up with the typing on keyboard or on the tablet . Couldn’t use basic game apps on it as the speed was so slow it made it impossible. Cheap tablet/laptop but very under powered and slow but may have been a faulty product.
