Works well but simple
The media could not be loaded. Over the years I've gotten rid of most of our gas tools except for a power washer and leaf blower - really need the power that electric or battery don't give you. I had a huge gas tiller but after a few years I really wasn't using it so got an electric but you have to dig out the cord and you were limit limited to it's length. Now I have this thing and I'm free to till anywhere! There isn't much to this. What you are really paying for is the battery. The engine has enough power and the tines are strong and the handle is metal but the rest of it is plastic.I included a video, it works great. In fact, you can hear that it doesn't stop for rocks it keeps going. I haven't ran it down put after about five minutes or so it has used one light out of four on the battery indicator. I was running the tiller with one hand and camera in the other, it is easy to handle. There are a few things I don't care about this.My biggest complaint is the handle. Like my mower you have to unscrew a bolt (with a star handle) to break down the handle to store this. I wish someone would come out with a tool that has a simple quick release. I will give them credit, however, for creating a two thread system where you can unscrew the bolt but not all the way where it falls out like my mower does. If you don't tighten it all the way you won't lose it should it become loose while using it.The wheels and guard are all plastic which work but how long will they last?Instead of a pin to adjust the wheel height you have to unscrew the star handled bolt. Takes too much time especially trying to line it up to get it back in.But overall, I like this. It's cord free and has some power. It has a few issues but it is great for when you need to do a little weeding or work a new spot to grow something.

Works exceptionally well
I got this out to tackle the garden beds this season, and wow... this is a million times better than my shovel. It was easy to assemble, didn't even require any tools, and tore into my soil like a champ. It busted up some weed roots and dug down deep to cultivate the soil. It still takes some muscle power to hold onto, but nothing compared to my shovel! The better has a good life and it went full-bore for about an hour or so before I needed to recharge. Soooo glad I have this!

Great Tiller For Small Areas Tight Spaces, Doesn't Work As Well In Hard Packed Soil
The Powerworks Tiller comes in a compact box, is easy to assemble and start using. It it powered by a battery and that makes it a much lighter weight tiller than comparable gas engine tillers which is a bit of a problem when you are tilling hard packed soil.I really like the ability to get between rows with this and to use it in existing planted areas. It is easy to maneuver and to pick up and physically move when needed. There is only one speed and it would be nice to be able to slow it down when you need to which means you need to be careful if you are breaking up the ground around existing plants. This unit has very good power and feels very sturdy. As several other reviewers have mentioned it could use more weight to give it better bite, I think this would really help in harder, packed soil, especially if it has much clay.I was able to run the unit for almost an hour on a full charge on the battery and the battery charges fairly quickly. If you had a lot of tilling to do that could be problematic but you also likely wouldn't be using this tool for that job.Assembly is easy and fast and took less than 15 minutes from opening to use, the majority of the assembly is attaching the handle. Battery takes about 90 minutes for a full charge. Overall I feel like this is a good value for the money, especially for small plots and flower beds etc. I gave it four stars because of the challenge between weight and hard packed soil.

Very nice battery-powered tiller
The 60V lithium battery provides a surprising amount of power, and an awesome feature is that the battery is interchangeable with other Powerworks products such as their chainsaw and leaf blower, so you can buy other tools without having to invest in a new battery. It charges from empty in about 90 minutes and lasts for about an hour of use.The only downside I can see with this tiller is that it is pretty light, so it can take some effort to push it down into denser soil when you're using it.This is a good quality tiller that provides plenty of power so it's perfect for small yards.
