ECCO Men's Chander Retro Sneaker

These ECCO Men's Chander Tie Fashion Sneakers fit and wear perfectly. I'm partial to ECCO shoes because they always fit and stay comfortable in my size, 44 EU. The alternate US size, 10-10 1/2, is probably nearly 10 1/2, as 10 would feel too tight. Their only rival for consistent fit and comfort are the classic Clarke Desert Boots, although the Clarke's are simple, unconstructed suede and so they form to the foot and gait but without any support except for the crepe sole. Of course, these remarks refer to buying online instead of at a store.So far I've only worn these ECCO Men's Chander Tie Fashion Sneaker on my treadmill and a few times while doing errands, which included walking for an hour or so at a time on hard floors. Even while consciously trying to 'feel' these shoes, they register no sensation other than being contrary to wearing nothing.All that said about these fashion sneakers that I find excellent, it must be added that they were not "New" as the invoice states. No, these are pre-owned and obviously so as soon as the box was opened, although I must acknowledge that I never went to detective school. I have much experience with ECCO shoes that were indeed new. These appeared re-packaged: the plastic stems for the cardboard 'shoe trees' were missing; the laces were bow-tied in a strange manner and quite difficult to untie; the soles were not brand-new. The white laces showed signs of being brushed by the wearer's trouser bottoms, and the wearer apparently had wider feet than the shoes could accommodate. Also, one of the removable inner sole pads was too loose and askance. Perhaps these facts account for the price's being less than the MSRP. Nonetheless, the renovation was quite good, and I don't mind the minor, harmless effects. I am always confident that Amazon will accept a return if I'm less than satisfied

4 star review despite the fact that I will be sending them back. The Chandler is just too narrow for my feet. The length fits as expected... just like all my other size 44 Ecco shoes. My feet are just unusually problematic because I have very flat feet and pronating ankles. The foot flatness means my feet spread at the mid-foot. My feet are actually quite narrow across the ball of the foot. It's the mid-foot that spreads, and that's a problem in this particular shoe. The soles get extremely narrow through the arch/mid-sole, and my feet hang over the sides. There is some arch support, but not enough to keep my flat feet and ankles in-line. I'm sending them back and I will give the Ecco BIOM grip a try instead.It's too bad, because these are great looking shoes that are extremely well made (like all Eccos). I have worn many different types of Eccos for years... from sneaker type Eccos to dress shoes and in between. This will be the first time I am sending them back, but it's not because it's a bad shoe. It just doesn't work with my weird. feet. As long as you have narrow feet with decent arches you should be fine with this purchase. If you have very wide feet, I would go with a different Ecco model.

I've had mutiple pairs of Ecco shoes before and the soles have always held up strong. This was my first pair of Ecco sneakers, and just barely 3 months of light to regular wear has the soles of both sneakers almost worn through. Very unhappy with the purchase.

This is Trisha's husband. I ordered these shoes for use at work, and I like the fit and style. They look as good as the pictures. I ordered wide because they didn't have a wider option in my size. The fit is slightly snug but I'm hoping will relax over time. I've had them for a few weeks now, and they are holding up well. The only thing I am worried about is the leather around the toe is wearing a bit. Otherwise I'm very pleased with the shoes. I was looking for comfort and style and good construction, and these shoes have met all the criteria.

I was initially going to buy my husband a few pairs of dress shoes but there was a great sale on this pair in his size. Based on previous experience with Ecco shoes I knew the deal was too good to pass up. My husband didn't love them when I showed him the picture but he also felt it was a great deal. Mostly because Ecco shoes always fit him properly and are outrageously comfortable. Well when they arrived we were both surprised at the quality and how great they look. The pictures did not do them justice! These shoes look great and of course are as comfortable as every other Ecco he has tried! Makes me want to never purchase any other brand of shoe for him.

I bought these shoes because I couldn't find my other brand in the style I wanted. Overall, shoe is great EXCEPT, I can't decide if these shoes have already been WORN? I had to inspect it very closely and my assumption is that they are new except the SCRAPE on the right front toe area (top). That's the first thing I noticed when I opened the box and my reaction was... oh great, USED / Returned shoes... hmmm. can't decide if I should send them back. I just received them this afternoon. 3 stars because of the scrape otherwise, I would have given it 4 stars (it's a little narrow compared to my other shoes and felt the imbalance when stepping... need to get used to them).

When new these shoes somewhat have a "nurse's shoes" effect going on with them, but once you break them in a bit that fades and they turn into pure ECCO greatness. There are some new ECCO's appearing that are not up to snuff, particularly on the sneaker end (I returned my first pair ever in exchange for these), these are not one of those thankfully and they are the same awesome ECCO shoes I've come to expect.

My husband wears these most days, all day. He loves them! They look good and they make his feet look smaller (size 14). He also has wide feet and he has loved these. They are quite the winner and I am certain he will buy them again - he loves them that much!

Wrong shoes sent as shown in the picture, although the label on the box was correct.Nothing wrong with the product. However, it's not a UK size 9. It's more like UK size 8.

Excellent style and comfort and at the heavily discounted Amazon price can't be beat. Sizing seems slightly large, perhaps half a UK size up but not a problem to me

My boyfriend wears only Ecco shoes for several years now and he claims these are the most comfortable ones. This is the second pair we buy after the first one finally tore up after years of constant wearing.Size is perfect match and Amazon discount cannot be beaten by our local shops.Also the quality is impeccable as usual.

The shoes are great value and very comfortable. I have walked in them now over many miles and there was no breaking in required. My local shoe shop's price was £25 more. Would recommend.

It would have been great if the automatic Amazon recommendation had not recommended a size too small! I'd buy a size larger than normal.
