Regular Scissors Don't Work...
when cutting carbon fiber cloth. These are specificly designed to cut without splintering the fibers making clean cuts. The size makes them easy to control.

Perfect for cutting Amsteel 7/16" and 1/8" cordage
I needed an easier way to cut my Amsteel cordage, and these scissors were recommended. Got them today, and test cut a piece of 1/8" Amsteel and it snipped right through it cleanly. Time will tell if they hold a good edge after more cuts, but they are great so far. They fit comfortably even with my large hands and fingers, and they provide excellent cutting leverage for easy cuts Neither too big nor too small. Handle material feels solid like ABS textured plastic, not like other cheap and brittle plastics

Tool just always works.
These scissors work for Dyneema sheets and cordage - never slip, never fail, easy to cut to the exact dimensions you want. They are small, light and allow easy "ripping" cuts of the sheets. My "go to" tool for working with Dyneema, Nylon, and Kevlar fabrics and cordage (easily cuts 1/2" Nylon cords). The "mico-serrations" barely visible seem to be this tools "secret to success."Easily worth the cost.

Cuts Dyneema rope with ease
I use these for cutting Dyneema rope. It's nearly impossible to cut this rope cleanly with ordinary shears. Even sharp knives and razors have a difficulty cutting small strands. These shears make it as easy as cutting paper. The serrations on one of the blades keep the rope from sliding as pressure is applied. I wish I had gotten this product months ago.

WORK GREAT WITH A MULTITUDE OF MATERIALS
These are great scissors (shears). I purchases them generically for tough material cutting (non-work-place), and have so far cut heavy cotton fabric, plastic packing (~2mm), light synthetic cord, 3mm Kevlar fabric and 3-4mm leather. It has easily cut through all of it, and given great control while doing so. The micro-serrations on the one blade really do hold the material in place for the cutting blade to do the work. I've been very happy with my purchase and would happily buy again if I thought these won't probably last my life-time.

Best scissors or sheets I’ve owned.
I bought these five years ago when I couldn’t find anything else to cut dyneema lines easily with. They go through them like butter. I’ve been using them regularly for 5 years now and they are still like new. This morning I had to dive under our boat to cut a crab pot loose from our prop. I initially brought a knife which wouldn’t even begin to cut through the synthetic line they used. Got thee scissors out, swam back down and in a single snip cut through that line multiple times to untangle the prop. I may be giving these as gifts this year to fellow sailors. They are invaluable.

OK for price
I rip cut about 50 lineal feet of 18oz carbon fiber fabric and cross cut about 12 lineal feet of the same 18oz carbon fiber fabric with this pair. They are about shot for cross cutting now, but are still ripping OK.
