Size:California King The PragmaBed Simple Adjust Head and Foot Wood Slat combines the flexibility of wood with our manually adjustable foundation, designed to eliminate the traditional box-spring. We've carefully engineered the frame with 80° of articulation at the head and 30° at the foot for adjustable support. All of our foundations have a simple assembly process that don't require additional tools as the frame unfolds to its full size. To support the portability of the design, we use heavy duty steel at a thicker gauge than standard metal frames to ensure a solid foundation with flexible birch wood slats that provide active support for spring mattresses. Other details like recessed wire supports and capped feet protect your floors and bedding, while a hypoallergenic powder-coated finish provides resistance to bedbugs and dust mites. Best of all, our frames are backed by our excellent support team and warranty so you can rest easy for a good night's sleep. See the full list of features and technical specifications for more details about this foundation at pragmabed.com. Be sure to check out our other products to decide which frame is right for you.

very good... with some tolerable complaints
great little bed frame! put an 6-inch regular foam mattress with a 2-inch memory foam topper and they bend fine. the top mechanism is easy enough to operate by even just using the middle of that top rail (not always the handles), although i would have liked one more lower setting (i had to put a board under head part to get it just right). also, torso section is a little long. when it's at a higher setting, i slide down (I'm 5'8") to where my feet hit my footboard. there was another complaint about this and i agree.the leg part is a little harder to adjust, needing to use the handles because taking by the center of the bottom rail doesn't work it like the top does. but that is adjusted much less, so no biggie.the handles are a flexible plastic that i was hoping would also serve to keep the bed from sliding side to side, but not very effective ( i think giving the handles this double duty would be a practical improvement to this design).the wood slats are the perfect support for my mattress and me. i weigh 155lbs and there's no center sag!all in all, very pleased! i docked a star for those complaints, but i would still recommend!

Perfectly fine for the price.
The frame was easy to move and set up. I put a 6 inch memory foam mattress on it. It slides around some & I typically have to straighten it back out every day or so. The only downside is that the frame is a little noisy. I have it adjusted so that both ends are up one setting. I'm only 140 lbs & if I shift at all, the metal rattles and creaks. It's similar to a cheap metal futon frame. It's also a pain in you want to adjust the frame to a lower setting. It works like one of those lounging lawn chairs. You have to fold it all the way up to get it to release & go back down. Fine enough, but when there's a mattress on it, it's easily a 2 person job, especially if you have any type of pain.Overall, it's not bad for the cost. I have fibromyalgia & sleeping on a regular bed was causing a lot of lower back, hip, & leg pain. Being able to sleep on this frame with my legs elevated has helped.

Best frame we ever owned
Purchased this to replace an old foam bed & box spring setup, with a new foam bed on this frame. When it arrived, we were please with how it was all assembled and easy to set up. It is very well made, very sturdy and should last a lifetime. It is loaded with slat support and is easy to lift up and down with two people of course...it works with one but is a little more challeging to do it yourself with a king bed. It does take a while to find your perfect setting of head to feet incline, but once you do it is perfect sleeping conditions for back problems, allergies and more. We had it since Dec. last year and it is still as good as the first day we put it up. We have recommended it to multiple friends & family members...a few have purchased the twin XL versions...and they love their as much as we do. We also owned an electric adjustable bed; besides it being electric, it did not compare to this frame, in support or build.

I LOVE THIS BED!
I have back problems and this bed has been a God-send. It was easy to put together and install. The only problem I have with this particular unit is that it takes two people to raise and/or lower. If you need an inexpensive mechanical bed, this would be the one for you. I use my regularmemory foam mattress with this unit without any problems. Customer service is great too!I had failed to get the warranty sent in within the 30 day limit because my grandson had putit in a drawer. I contacted the company and they allowed me to register my warranty!I would recommend this bed and company to everyone.

Some problems...
The connectors between the two sides aren't tight enough, and therefore raising and lowering the head and legs doesn't work well (this is the point of having the bed after all). Otherwise, it is solid construction. Also, note that the legs barely raise at all... maybe about 4 or 5 inches.

Amazing quality with these bed frames
Amazing quality with these bed frames. Very, very sturdy. My teenaged son put them together in about 20 minutes and we had the mattresses in place in just two minutes more. We're using a 10" memory foam mattress and love the adjustable head and foot. Highly recommend.

Great little "no-frills" frame that just works.
Fairly easy to put together solo. Easy to adjust though you may have to fold the mattress down or up while you are adjusting the frame. Also, make sure that the adjustments lock into ALL FOUR little brackets/mechanisms and do not just assume they are locked in. With a split queen mattress I could easily see using one side flat whilst the other side up for watching TV. Also, as each side is a complete frame, it would not take much to make add-on brackets to enable using a twin-size mattress on each if the frames are used separately.

Can't beat the price
makes the bed hight higher than anticipated, but this thing is sturdy and as far as I can tell , well made. I keep my head portion lifted one notch. No problems yet after a few months of usage
