Bulk Pink Oplatki Christmas Wafers (100 Count) by Church Supply Warehouse

Use this for Christmas eve tradition. My daughters would be heart broken if we did not have it. I usually bought it from Church , but last year ordered it on line. Best decision ever.

I'll never disappoint the M-I-L again, having made this purchase. Somehow, I'd forgotten we'd cached out the Oplatki supply and we didn't have it for last year's Wigilia (Christmas Eve) dinner. A lovely, Polish tradition, these wafers representing the Host; we each break off a piece, offering it to each other with a stated sentiment, acknowledging appreciation, etc before consumption. A heartfelt reminder of who and what the season's really all about.These delicate wafers arrived in perfect condition/packaging.

I am extremely disappointed as this is a very important holiday tradition. The wafers are stale and taste like cardboard. Very thick and smaller then im used to. I usually eat too many in a sitting and I can't even get one down it's so dry. It also only came in a bag! A BAG for fragile wafers that would break easily had they not been stale!! Not even any fragile warning on the bag either. I look forward to these every year but I will never but from here again.

Have been doing the Slovak Christmas Eve dinners for 45 years now, carrying on my mother's and her mother's tradition. The oplatki were very difficult to obtain for some of those years, so having the good old internet come through for me is wonderful. Dinner was lovely and the wafers started the meal, dipped in traditional honey. Thank you Church Supply Warehouse!

Update. 2nd order. Much fresher than last tine. They are that 'fluffy dense" proper texture that you can bite into. Much better than the last order. They were pkg once in a bag by vendor, and again in a bag by Amazon.1st orderTheres nothing really wrong with them, they're fine for me.... just not quite as fresh as others I bought, meaning not quite as crisp, but they do break when bent.

The wafers were as advertised and just like the ones we have received from Church in the past. It was nice having a large quantity that I shared with family members not living in my town.

The worst oplatki ever! Stale as can be! I am so, so, so disappointed. Will never order from this company again.
