This sled rides as awesome as it is high tech looking
This sled rides as awesome as it is high tech looking. The best thing is how well it steers. It is fast, light, well designed and perfect for my 7 year old grand daughter. We gave it to her for Christmas and the cold is the only thing that will get her off of the thing. I would highly recommend it for young kids

This was relatively easy to assemble but one of the screws was the wrong size and it took us some time to get it to fit. Sadly, we haven't had a chance to actually use it yet but it looks great and with it being relatively light weight but sturdily built, I know my kids will get a lot of use out of it!

Really enjoy sleding now!
Great sled and really worth the money! I moved up from the plastic "trays" that seem to break at any given time. The slider seems to work much better on firm packed snow than power, but I still got down the hill (just not as fast). Steering is a nice feature on the sled. Moves left and right with little effort. I'm 195lbs and this product had no issue taking me down the hill. If you were looking to "upgrade" your sled, gives this a serious consideration.

Nice... but missing part
This is a mixed review... The sled is very nice, and my son loves it. However, it came missing a part, a hard plastic piece that covers bolts. Not essential but would be nice to have. I called customer service, who informed me they didn't ship out individual parts and they were out of sleds. So my only options were to return the sled or keep it and make do. As my son really wanted it, I choose to keep it and make do.

Awesome sled!
I spent a lot of time searching for an affordable snow sled for my son. He really wanted one that he could steer. It is a durable sled that held up well to the abuse of young kids. This sled can hold an adult. Well worth the purchase for hours of fun.

for a sled it doesn't slide
doesn't slide very well. it is pretty clear you must have a certain type of snow and elevation. My hubby is trying to change the construction of the slide so it works better. I would not recommend this product.

Great sled for kids (and adults)
Just took the sled out for two days of sledding and the kids loved the sled. I used a few times and I had a lot of fun on it. A previous reviewer mentioned it is on the small size for an adult, which it is. But I am 6' and I could ride it good enough. My 10 and 12 year were able to ride it with no problems. The sled turns really well and the brake systems works good enough. It won't stop you quickly but being able to stear this relatively well means you shouldn't be running into anyone else or any trees. I did not give it 5 stars because it is heavy for kids to carry around. I ended up having to carry it up the hill for my kids and they gravitated more to the lighter plastic or foam sleds as they could easily carry them up. It held up well over two days on some pretty ice hills. I did get a number of compliments from other people who thought it looked really cool which it does compared to the plastic sleds most people have.

Poor material
Brought this as a Christmas present. When we received it, the plastic on the sled itself was already open. Then, we set it on the ground to test it. The mesh fell in within 5 seconds of being my being on it (I’m about 140 lbs). Upon further inspection, I found that the material used to bind the mesh to the frame was brittle and had cracked. Product is a good idea, just needs higher quality material. I would maybe look into the KWIK TEK Hammer Hed Sled. It’s pricey but if you can spring for it, I feel you’d be better off.
