Very Easy Application
I just received my order and applied it to two wheels of my new to me 2016 F-150 Lariat. As indicated in the product description, it is EASY to apply. I used Groits Speed Shine and paint clay to first clean the wheels to ensure that any tar, or other contaminates were removed be for applying the Smartwax Rim Wax. It did not take long to apply to the wheels with a microfiber sponge applicator. I allowed it to haze over, and then removed with a fluffy microfiber cloth. It came off so easy, no residue left. I even applied it to my chrome running boards. Every thing is sparkling shiny, and as smooth as a baby's butt. The price of this wax is on the high side, but I use Groit's on all of my vehicles and it isn't cheap, but it works so very well. It's an another example of getting what you pay for.I want to see how durable this will be. I am particularly interested in whether it will help when cleaning dust and dirt from the wheels. It seems that I spend more time cleaning wheels and tires than I do washing and drying my trucks. As I mentioned, I use Griots and with a good claying, and best of show wax, washing and drying is fast.

Great product, works as stated!
Easy to apply and remove. Great shine and my wheels stay clean (and easy to clean). Repels brake dust and dirt as advertised. I've only had it on for a few weeks now but couldn't be happier (at this point).UPDATE:A month after application and have had the car through multiple wash cycles and brake dust & dirt does not stick. The shine is going strong. My car is a 2018 Accord Sport with the standard black (painted) rims which show everything! Prior to applying this product I was just using a spray wax (I use on my car) on the rims. After I went through a wash and dry cycle I had to immediately wipe the rims down or they looked terrible. Water spots, brake dust and haze from the car wash wheel clearer (residue, etc). With this product a wipe down is not mandatory. I notice if I do it brings out the shine a little bit more. Only been a month (or so) but I'm amazed how nothing really sticks, it keeps shining and the product went on and came off so easily with no white dust or anything?! The product is the consistency of cream or lotion. Because it's so easy I put a second application. Now let's see how long it lasts......

Easy To Use Wheel Protection
I have been using RimWax's competitor, WheelWax for a while with good results. I decided to try this RimWax to see how it compares--I coated the wheels on one side of my truck with WheelWax and the other side with RimWax. The cleaning ability of both products is comparable and they both produce an excellent, bright finish. I must say that RimWax is MUCH easier to remove than its WheelWax counterpart. I'm not finding stubborn wax spots hiding in corners for days afterwards like I do with WheelWax. RimWax also claims to last for months, which I'm testing now. WheelWax seems to last 2 months tops and I'm hoping RimWax will last longer.**2 MONTH UPDATE**I just washed and inspected my wheels after 2 months of winter with WheelWax on one side of my truck and RimWax on the other side. The results are clear and unmistakable. I went mudding in my truck not long before this wash and the mud didn't stick much to the wheels I coated with RimWax 2 months ago and the wheels with WheelWax were coated solid with mud. The mud easily rinsed off of the wheels with RimWax, indicating to me that the RimWax is still going strong. The WheelWax is clearly worn off. Not only is RimWax much easier to use (see review above) my experience is it also lasts longer than WheelWax. I'll be sticking with RimWax from now on.

Outstanding durability. Brake dust washes off with a sponge even years after application.
I put this on the rims of a new Highlander. So far the brake dust wipes off with a sponge and soapy water. No scrubbing required. It does not stick at all. Waiting to determine longevity of the product. Will update.July 2018After three years I finally had to reapply the rim wax. I removed the wheels during a brake job and was able to clean them in minutes. The brake dust still did not stick. I used a soft scrub for nonstick pans to remove some flecks of tar and lightly stuck material on the painted part pf the inner rim, and that was about it. After soaping and scrubbing them I let them dry and reapplied per the instructions. The outer visible part of the rims look about 98 percent of new. Three years of winter salt and summer heat. I should have reapplied every summer and will from now on, but I wanted to see how long it would last.

I bought this for my boyfriend as a gift (he had been hinting at wanting some wheel wax for quite some time), and it is AMAZING. The brake pads on my bimmer produce a ton of dust. We could wash and wax the wheels and drive to the store to find that they are already filthy. Not anymore! The wheels were waxed with this about two weeks ago and they have yet to get so dirty that I need to clean them again. A nice rinse with the hose about once a week seems to be doing the trick. Bottom line, this stuff is amazing (plus it smells like grapes). Will definitely buy this again.

Makes cleaning a relative breeze
As others have mentioned, it takes a long time to apply and buff on 4 wheels, but you get a nice glossy finish. The spray brake dust repellant from another manufacturer steaks and loses its gloss quickly. While this wax doesn't make a major difference in repelling dust in the first place, subsequent touch ups are very fast. Two weeks after applying, I used a damp microfiber cloth to wipe them clean (and still glossy!). Worth the effort.

Smells Great!
This wax works well and smells really good! It is a little bit of a pain to apply if you have rims with lots of nooks and crannies, because you have to wipe it on and then wipe it back off (but similar products work the same way, so that isn't unique to this one). If you miss a spot when wiping off, you'll have a little purple residue left behind, but it isn't noticeable unless you look closely. So far I've only had to apply this every few washes. It is doing a really good job of repelling dirt and maintaining shine.

Works well, but it's a lot of work
I've been using this Rim Wax for a couple of years now. It's expensive stuff but I really hate cleaning my rims with a passion. I hate cleaning the rims because there are so many grooves and crevices in mine that it's not even funny. I use the Rim Wax only 2 or 3 times a year because it's a lot of work. The results are pleasing and the durability is not bad as it lasts a few weeks but eventually it wears off within a month. The trick is to not apply too much or else it is harder to buff off. A thin layer works well applied with a pad and the more you buff, the more shine you get. I put the wax on all the wheels first, then one by one buff them with a microfiber and the whole process takes about half an hour, which doesn't include cleaning the wheels first with a wheel cleaner.
