Hobart never fails to get the job done
Awesome product! Cuts like butter and does even more than it claims. I would definitely buy it agin and recommend it to anyone. Took everything to the next level with the precise cutting.

A bit disappointed
Kind of disappointed - between this and the hypertherm I chose Hobart (I have other equipment from them)As others mention, mine appeared used. It was packed nicely, the box a bit beat up but the torch nozzle seems significantly used.Decided to return and go with the hypertherm

Protective plastic shield a fire hazard
I bought this item and used it often until the protective plastic shield placed to protect the electrical board melted.This happened after cutting 1/2 inch steel plate. Excessive heat melted the plastic and plastic damaged the other components. Plasma will not turn on anymore. Light gauge materials are ok to cut but would not recommend for professional use.

Works great! Thickest I’ve tried to cut with it so far is 1/8”, but cuts that like butter.

So easy to use
So easy to use! I just piped up my compressed air, plugged this in, set my amperage, and cut away in no time at all. Punch through cuts starting in the middle of the metal are super easy and accurate with this.
