Croscill Galleria Queen Comforter, 4 Piece Set, Red

The comforter arrived without any issue and it was packaged very well - then again it's very rare that I receive any packages from amazon.com that aren't packed well.The colors are vibrant and really warm up my bedroom. The comforter itself is slightly larger than the queen sized comforter that was on my bed previously, which is great - it hangs low enough on the sides to where it reaches the bed skirting, which looks great when the bed is all made up.The quality of the comforter definitely exceeded my expectations. I'm usually a stickler for quality (my sheets are all over 800 thread count) and I figured this would be a good middle of the road purchase. While the cost was the middle of the road, I feel the quality exceeds what I paid for, which makes me feel doubly good about this purchase. In more detail, the comforter is pretty heavy and the insides of the comforter seem to be very evenly distributed, unlike lumpy comforters i've had before. The little rope & threading on the edges of the comforter are not only aesthetically pleasing, but also feel to be of great quality as well.All in all, I would definitely buy this comforter set again - heck, for the quality I would be willing to pay even more than the $199 it's going for at the moment!

It is an oversized, heavy, warm and snuggly comforter. The comforter and shams are well made and reversible. Just an FYI: it is too large and heavy for a home washing machine so it does have to be done at a commercial laundry or dry cleaners.

I love this comforter .. the underneath of the comforter is so soft feels and conforms to your body so cozy . The tapestry woven together is very rich and royal looking the roping around the shams are just amazing made so well . The weight of the comforter is a little weighty but nice for summer too because of the air conditioner and also nice for winter ... if we don’t put the air conditioner on I roll comforter down and just sleet with sheets. Dust ruffle is super cool has a different pattern than comforter set and you can use many color sheets with this comforter set I bought gold and burgundy .But but be careful when buying burgundy sheets I have to return the burgundy set of sheets the color was more red than burgundy . The company was Mellanni brand Where I bought the 2 sets of sheets . The gold color looks beautiful sheets are really nice soft and cool . You will love this comforter

I have been looking for a very long time for a comforter set in these colors, but everything I have seen just looked cheap and lackluster. I was pleased when I saw the picture for the Croscill "Galleria" set because it was the colors I wanted and I hoped it would look nice since it had so many nice reviews. I was NOT disappointed!! In fact, the picture just really does not do justice to this comforter set- it is beautiful- the colors are rich and elegant- the comforter is a good weight, I feel it will last a good long time. And it also was very quick to be delivered, and came packaged nicely. I'm so happy with how it looks on my bed!

OMG!!!!! This comforter is absolutely beautiful. Just let me say, this is not for the summer. This is a winter comforter..... It is thick and just hangs over the side of my bed at a perfect length. I have a king size bed and I find the California King gives me the drape that I like. It does not hit the floor or anything but it does fall down to the wood part of your frame on your bed. Also, be careful with this as it will snag if you are not careful. It has beautiful buttons spread out on the bed. And, I noticed that some areas may puff more than other areas, But you can easily remedy that by giving it a little shake or just spreading the comforter with your hand once you make the bed and that works for me. It is pricey but worth every penny.

I can't add anymore to the excellent reviews of this comforter set. It is beautiful and rich looking and is excellent quality. We have 4 dogs who like to sleep on the bed during the day and there is not one snag nor does it show any hair or dirt. It is truly oversized and fits my new 14 inch mattress with a 3 inch topper perfectlyThe only reason I gave this 4 stars is that, as some have reviewed, the dust ruffle is way too busy and almost gaudy although it too is very good quality. I have had to buy a solid cocoa colored one with lesser quality which now emphasises the beauty of the comforter. Also another minor negative is that I have found that the shams are somewhat big. I purchased oversize pillows and even with those the shams are about 2 inches too big all the way around.Other than the minor negatives I am so pleased with the purchase and highly recommend it to anyone with an oversize mattress who is looking for quality and beauty.

I was more than pleased with my purchase of the comforter set. The quality of the material is nothing less thansuperb. The picture does not do this comforter justice. So many times you see a picture of bedding and it looks like so much more than what it is when you receive it. I have purchased bedding in person from the highest quality stores and not been as pleased when I get home, having the stitching pull apart and unravel at the edges. This comforter is made of solid stitching, beautiful gold threading, wonderfully rich and thick and so luxurious to touch, feel and it instantly converted my bedroom into an elegant, inviting and comforting haven.

Love this set and love the quality of Croscill. The colours were exactly as shown and work beautifully with an area rug I was trying to match up with.

I have bought two of these with co ordinating cushions and European shams for my sofas. Good quality product except the fringes keep falling out of the throw cushions so I ended up cutting them off but the cushions still look great without them.
