We’ve used this string for our tomato plants for several years. It works! It’s easy to use, soft and sturdy. We have some plants that are more than 6’ tall!

***Update after use of second order:Pros:* Has held up to multiple washings. (See images of orange masks- right one wash/left 8 plus times hand scrubbed and machine washed and dried due to ink accidentally getting on masks)* I bought a second one to give to my family who sew but only need a few masks for themselves and I still have alot left.* Cons:None so far I have actually used a piece as a hairband and I have long hair and it held my hair in place without pulling it.This will be my go to place for ordering more elastic.* Other masks are a different style you can use it with.Pros:*It is very soft and comfortable you will forget it is around your ears*stretchy (I used 7 1/2 inches on regular elastic but I can use 6 inches because of how stretchy it is)*It's strong (I washed it multiple times and it held up)*The price is right (I make masks and give them away for free for those that need it so this is perfect)*The ends don't frail when cut like other elastic bands (I was actually looking at it like it self healed or something)Cons: Just personal opinions not worthy of removing stars just FYI info.* White color only (I wish there were different colors to go with different patterns)* The thread is kinda flat it is not completely round (I like it because I need a flat side for the pleated masks but others might not like it)Conclusion:I would recommend this for sure. I actually bought another roll just in case I run out. I recommended it to other friends and family that are also making them as well. It will be on my reorder list for later.

Although this product is great, the picture led you to believe that it came in 2 spools. This was important to me because a friend and I were sharing the cost. We chose this particular seller because it showed 2 spools of elastic, even though it was more than we needed. This way we would not have to measure it out, which would have been a nightmare for us.I have written to the seller regarding this, just in case we were supposed to get the 2 spools, and I have not heard from them. This is not only poor customer service, but makes me think that the seller knows that his picture of the product is very misleading and is ignoring my concern.

Soft to the touch. It’s so easily to handle when stretched. Easy to sew it in things too.

Happy I have purchased this elastic. I wasn’t sure if it would be as soft as it said it is, but it is!! This elastic has made the masks I have been making 100 times more comfortable. The cord doesn’t even feel like regular elastic, it’s like a soft little string of fabric. I would recommend this elastic, and will buy again when I run out, (which may be a little bit as it does come with a lot— very good value for the money). The elastic washed well, I do regular wash, and regular dry. Masks with this elastic have been used and washed many times with no problems of it falling apart or it becoming stiff. I will not order any different type of elastic for masks again.

This is the perfect width for masks and to use the rubber end caps. Easy to make the masks adjustable. This size works the best for end caps.

When it comes to search on Amazon, it can be overwhelming (fortunately, though) to have too many choices with various reviews... But if you’re looking for “high-quality, soft and durable elastic bands for masks” THIS is the one!I am writing this review after testing this elastic band for about a month;*thin, flat, soft & has perfect stretch to wear comfortably yet securely hold the fabric masks in place for hours, without hurting ears. very comfortable.*stable quality- no shrinking or over-stretching even after many washes; hand washing, no dryer.*no knots/fraying so far (as seen on other sellers’ reviews...) great price, great quality.I’m very satisfied & definitely recommend, I would buy again.ps. I would be happy to see it comes with non-plastic core for easy recycling in a future :)
