Duck Commander Classic Commander Double Reed Call

This is an amazing duck call. It's easy to use and it sounds just like a real mallard duck. Before I even showed it to some family and friends of mine I conducted a test for each person I was about to show. I took one of my old duck calls that is supposed to sound like a mallard as well and I blew that one then the duck commander duck call. I then asked whether the first one sounded better or the second and each person chose the second which was the duck commander duck call. The call itself seems like it's constructed in a very simple fashion however it produces a truly amazing sound. I highly recommend this call to all duck hunters, like myself, and to anyone that wants to make the most realistic duck sound possible. This is a great buy.

This call is one of the easiest to use and it sounds good. It's really as simple as that. I have this on my lanyard and even the most experienced duck hunters recognize this as a classic call. It is hand made so you will get different tones out of it - but mine is very warm and a little softer. It works really well with my other calls that are more raspy. So, when ducks go by my blind and I use this call and my fellow hunters use a different one which may be more raspy - we sound more authentic - allowing us to pull ducks closer and get better shots. Step 1 - get a gun. Step 2 - buy this call Step 3 - Buy a rotisserie. Step 3 - Use that duck fat to cook french fries. (you heard it here first... amazing)

Our family follows the Duck Dynasty series like I image the old radio shows were broadcasted years ago. When I purchased this, my intention was to save it as a Christmas present. Well after listening to my husband talk about duck hunting and the need for a duck call so he can train our lab, I realized I had to hand it over before he purchased one himself. It's really nice, wood quality is amazing and as a woman who has zero interest in duck calls, I find it to be high quality, or so it seems and sounds really cool.Best gift my hubby ever got.

Makes a pretty decent duck sound, but I think with the price of this call you are paying for a little bit of the history of the duck commander legacy, which is fine if you are a big fan. it will no doubt work. it's made of wood so it doesn't freeze up as easy in the cold, and you can call very loud

The call is awesome and it's pretty amazing that each one has been put together and personally touched and tested by 1 of the 5 duck men that are featured on the show duck dynasty where you can't see them putting them together and testing them. Only thing wrong is that in the description it clearly says that the classic "comes with a DVD" mine did not! Still great call and am "for the most part" happy I bought from "Reds gear" they had great service and got to me before estimated time!ps. Buy the call here, if you go to bass pro or Cabelas they will charge you 45 bucks.

I tried to purchase this particular Duck Commander Duck Call for my other half this past Christmas. But, since it is such a popular item, everywhere I checked (including here on Amazon) I kept finding out that it was "SOLD OUT!" Once I saw that it was, once again, available here, I jumped on the chance to buy it...this time as an anniversary gift to my other half. Yesterday, I gave it to him. Gee, you would have thought I had given him the moon and stars! He was so pleased to have it! So, he promptly tried it out and was delighted with the fine tonal qualities of this particular duck call.I can't say that I personally know beans about duck calling, but from the response of the hubby, I would recommend this one to any serious collector of duck calls.

I wish I could put zero stars. The Classic Commander was awesome pre 2012. Don’t waste your money today. It sounds horrible. I’ve had multiple duck commander calls that have sounded decent but they are making them differently now and they sound like crap. Buy something else if you want to call ducks.

This is the call of ALL calls! It’s very smooth, easy to blow, and I love the wood on this call. It’s amazing, 100/100 recommend!
