Looks cool. Took about 20 min to assemble
Looks cool. Took about 20 min to assemble. Great base if you know electrical. Ive only had it 3 days and my kid has rode it twice. Did not work out of the box, had to pull a pannel off to find that the forward/reverse switch was not even hooked up. The aux port is very loose and you have to hold the cord at an agle to get your phone to stay connected. Even when it dose stay connected the sound quality is absolutely terrible. Tryed to use it yesterday and wouldnt move. After checking for power and ground in different spots i found the manual/transport switch is malfunctioning. This is fine with me because i planned to relocate it away from the drivers seat for the safety of my child. Theres no reason for my child to have to the option to switch it over into manual while im driving considering i live downtown. These units have very little power and barely climbs hills with my 2yo in the seat. To remedy this issue i have ran a second battery in a parallel circuit. The added apperage has given it life plus it has double the run time. Warning: upgrade the wiring when upping the battery cappacity weather 12 or 24v set up- wires and motors get a bit warm due to the added power and stress on the unit. If running 24v consider upgrading the motors and get some new gear boxxes, they burn up quick under all the power.I honestly would have returned it and bought a better brand if i hadnt already installed under glow, a second battery, upgraded wiring, and a small subwoofer . this thing has been a nightmare, im just glad i already planned to tear it appart and build something wild for my daugher.

Has plusses and minuses
I bought this for my son for Christmas, he likes it a lot.Pros:-It is fairly easy to put together and the directions are decent.-The battery that is included is also decent, it saids it is a 7 amp-hour-You can get a 12v battery with paddle connectors and easily swap out. Batteries Plus has any number of these, I got a 9 amp-hour and it lasts as long as the attention span last.-It is reasonably fast-The remote control feature is nice.-Will drive through the yardCons:-Very, very plastic-Smaller than I thought-One seat (which I knew but kind of wish I had gone for 2)-Sits very close to the groundBattery underseat and requires moving the seat to get to it. They did not design it to change batteries, but it is not too badOverall, it was half the price of others and is definitely worth that.-

Remote control feature is mostly useless
We actually ordered this by mistake when shopping for a birthday gift for my son. It's not what we wanted, but it's not bad either. The good:- It looks pretty great- Assembly wasn't bad - took me 20 minutes- Battery was already charged enough for a solid half hour or more of initial fun before we had to drag him off the damn thing- Seems fairly fast - we live on a large property with a steepy, windy driveway and it's more capable of tackling the sloped and offroad than I expected. The not so good:- The two safety features, the remote control and the speed control, are both enabled/disabled by switches that are prominently visible and accessible to the kids - buttons that are sitting right new to the gear shift on the right side. These safety switches should be *hidden* from the kids, not placed right where they are encouraged to play with them and where it's impossible to hide their function. This basically makes the features not only useless but even dangerous.- The vehicle can only be *either* in remote control mode *or* in kid control mode. So, for instance, if your kid is driving away towards traffic and you want to use the remote control to turn him around, well... you can't. He's got complete control, until you flip the switch mentioned above. After 30 minutes of play my kid already figured out how to disable the remote control.- The vehicle has no acceleration curve - it's either full speed or stopped. This makes for a lot of cringe-worthy whiplash everytime it changes from stopped to go (or vice versa). The seat back isn't high enough to actually keep the head from whipping backward when moving forward. Now, is it fun? Heck yeah. My kid loves it. I'm sure he won't complain about any of this. But the remote feature could be so much better. And if the acceleration had just a slight curve applied it would be SO much more usable for everyone.

Love it! Recommend!
Got this for my son this past Christmas and so far it is holding up great! I love how it can climb steep hills, it has working lights, pre programmed songs accessible through the steering wheel button, a working horn, and you can hook an aux cord up and play any music of your choice through the speakers. It even has sound effects that revs up like a real car when you push the power switch. The remote control is a must have feature for kids who can’t quite grasp the steering concept. Older kids can take full control without needing the remote and there are 2 speed options.
