This is a good product to keep in my desk drawer to keep oil and shine down in the summer. It does the job better than some of the highly rated affordable alternatives (Rimmel Stay Matte or Maybelline). But there's no mirror, so it's not something I'd keep in my purse. And for powdering my face to set my makeup at the beginning of the day (as opposed to touching up) there are alternatives that look more natural such as Laura Mercier and Makeup Forever HD and for something really affordable the loose powder Elf HD which is fabulous for about $5.

I decided to buy this after watching essiebutton on youtube and I tend to trust her recommendations. I was looking for a simple, basic powder to combat my T-zone area. I am always worried that powder will make me break out or look too cakey over makeup. Fortunately, this powder did exactly as promised - simply got rid of the oily/shiny areas and made my T-zone look matte. It also didn't irritate my skin and was pretty affordable. I was almost going to buy another luxury brand powder but was able to save lots of money by getting this instead. very pleased!

Rated it 4 stars because I do have to re-apply after maybe 6 of hours, but only ONCE a day.definitely the only powder that has kept me matte for most of the day. I've noticed with other powders, I get oily shortly after wearing it, but this doesn't.I have oily/combination skin and I set this over my foundation. it works well for me, I love it!

If you have combination to oily skin you will love this feather-weight blotting/setting powder. Though it is very light, it will not whitewash your complexion. I am 38 and have fair combination skin. I use this product to set my foundation and to dab areas that need a little extra concealer. Depending on weather and intensity of your day, it may be necessary to do a light dusting at the end of it. My recommendation is to use a brush for application.

easy - translucent color. gives skin the effect of a china doll at first but it does keep my shininess at bay.

Doesn't keep the oil away all day, have to touch up a few times through the day. It does the job well though, and is very translucent.

Love, love, love this stuff! Unfortunately I have not been able to find this locally, so I have ordered it through Amazon a couple of times. Using this product makes my makeup last longer & my face doesn't get all shiny. I hope this product does not get discontinued as this is a makeup staple in my opinion!

I’ve used other products from Soap and Glory so I thought I’d try this one. Very smooth and not heavy at all. Loved it for the price

to be honest I much prefer Mac blotting powder. It blots your face rather than adding a powder to it. The soap and glory does take away the shine but it adds a layer of powder so I don't feel I can keep using it. It lives in my work drawer not my handbag so it gets used but not all the time.

This product is extremely expensive for what it is, however it does the job. I just wish it stayed in for longer as even in cold weather it seems to only last an hour or two on my nose, bear in mind my nose is quite oily compared to the rest of my face.

It's an ok powder, worth a try however I think my skin was way too oily for this product. If you're darker skinned, use a light hand when applying this product

Quick and easy application blends well on medium skin. Wasn't sure if it would blend, definitely buy again.

Soap and glory are a fantastic company and this is the best powder iv ever used worth every penny
