When you purchase a product and it does exactly as advertised that's a good product. And this one does. Hint: Before installing disconnect the router and unplug the modem then install. So that the new cables establish its digital speed.

A total of 5 cables were tested and all continue to work as described. The maximum speed attained over a 10Gbe adapter and switch setup was 2.97Mpbs under average office load. Higher loads were not tested. The workstations are a mix of 8th gen and 11th gen i7 CPU with 16GB - 32 GB RAM and 540-T2 ethernet cards.Some of our workstations were able to achieve 2.5Gbps and maintain that transfer speed utilizing a mix of 1.2GB - 5GB sized files. Larger files did not increase or decrease the transfer rates; however, a consistent transfer rate was seen with files ranging from 2.5GB - >10GB.We are not ecstatic with the results but these xfer rates currently meet our needs.

I have this connected to my PlayStation 4 and couldn’t be happier. The length is great, and I consistently have the best connection within my friend group. Highly recommend!

This review is coming from PC Gamer who also owns a Nintendo Switch and PS4. I also know my way around getting the speeds that I pay for. For years I used a Cat 5e cable from my modem to my router. When I moved out of my mom’s I got Spectrum and read a lot of reviews talking about falsely advertised speeds. But when reading reviews the people writing were using 10-15 year old laptops and other hardware over WiFi.As hardware ages the WiFi signal output is gonna diminish over time that’s for all hardware over time. Same thing with older consoles. I completely dismissed these reviews and decided to find out how to combat these reviews. So,I bought three different sets of these cords and a gigabit Switch for connecting more devices with Ethernet from my router. I used these cables from my modem to my router and separate Switch. I got my Nintendo Switch Lite running through Ethernet USB C adapter. I also got my PS4,TV,Nvidia Shield TV Pro and my PC using these cable and one left over for when I buy my PS5 this year. On my PC I noticed how my speeds were decreasing at first but I figured that it was a Ethernet driver issues and I uninstalled the driver and went from 390mbps download and 10 upload to 500MBPS down and 25 up.I was extremely happy since I was getting better speeds than what I paid for. The speeds on the Switch Lite, and PS4 are lowered because Nintendo uses different architecture when connecting online and needs to update the Ethernet. The base PS4 speeds are bad regardless and hasn’t been really updated a lot by Sony. I have seen increased speed,less lag and faster streaming and a seamless online experience but I have not gotten speeds over 150mbps down and 10mbps up but that’s based on how to manufacturers optimize their hardware.In conclusion, these cables are long and thin so definitely worth it for the price. A definite must buy for tech savvy people that want better streaming on their devices or a better WiFi experience

The cable works great for the price. The quality has been great. No signal problems that I have noticed. I have ordered this same cable a few times for my different devices.

The Vandesail is a durable flat cable with an integrated strain relied and gold vaporized shell and contact. Gold plating or vaporization is always a sign of a quality made cable. The jacket is made of a rugged material that is difficult to nick. The flat cable shape is my favorite. It takes up less volume then a round ethernet cable, is easier to manage and route and nicest of all its easy to tuck away and hide is a crack or seam say between the carpet and wall board. The connector tabs have a hood over them that will help prevent snagging on other cables and breaking off the locking tang. the cable does come in a variety of colors which is very very helpful when trying to identify a particular cable in a bundle.As far as performance goes, I could not measure directly the performance of the cable directly but I could compare its performance to a 3' Cat 7 cable. To do this I replaced a the shorter Cat 7 cable that connected the WAN port of a Netgear R6700V3 router and a Cable Modem. The service provided by the Cable modem ISP Gigablast or 1 Gb/s. This WAN connection would be the choke point in my home network should the speed be degraded by the cable so its important I have the best performance there. I performed a speed test for both cables, the original 3' Cat 7 cable and the 10ft Vandesail cable. The result was both cables performed identically and very well allowing the max data rate that could be achieved by the Gigblast cable service.Highly recommended and a good value!

Bought this because of the spec, it is working perfectly to hardwire my amazon prime TV box! Obviously getting better and faster signal as it is wired! And it’s good quality! Would recommend

If your internet is slower than what your ISP has advertised, the Ethernet patch cable you are currently using could be one of the problems.
