I buy a lot of ties and this one is solid black. It is very well priced and the material is fantastic, not that cheap thin stuff. Will buy another one soon.

So let me caveat my review here. I'm 5'11, 195lbs and wear a tie every day. These are NOT solid stand alone ties. What I mean is, a thicker tie will hold up longer, wrinkle less, not hold the knot wrinkles and so on. But those are 25-40 on sale. At under 10, these cheap versions could work for some people. Here's why they work for me. I never wear the tie fully visible by itself. all year long, I'm either wearing a dress vest over the tie so only the top 1/3 to 1/2 is exposed or I'm in a vneck sweater in the cold months so only the top 1/4 is showing. This allows me to tie my ties with thick windows knots and longer tails, shorter ends, because no one's going to see the bottom. I like thick knots (and I cannot lie.... sorry, I can't help myself). So for me, these cheapos work, bc I can make thick knots. I basically always tie them the same... and no wrinkles are ever really gonna be apparent for how they're hidden under my vest and vneck. So these might work great for folks like this. But if you're wearing it on a dress shirt where the whole tie will be visible, go with a thicker/better quality tie. I should note, I own about 12 different colors of this exact tie to match up with my vests and dress shirts. That's how happy I've been with it for how I use it.

Perfect! The color matched so well with our color scheme this Easter. It was a great value. It was of average length and fit well. It was not overly thick.

This was a good, inexpensive tie. I just wanted a simple black tie and this was perfect!
