Worked great but I ordered the wrong key type and will return. Meanwhile I’m using it for parts. My bad this one pulls down to open my 2011 key has to be cracked in half to open. No crying still worked for me for a little for parts.

That piece saved my life. My car key fob broke and I had to buy it as soon as possible. I had to ask some people to help me change it, because it was kinda difficult. Unfortunately, the lock/unlock buttons stopped working after around 2 weeks. Quality is nice.

Worked great for my mk4 Jetta key and spare. My mk4 Jetta keys were old and needed a refresh. I was able to transfer the immobilizer and the key and get it to flip open perfect. Also it looks brand new!

The metal loop on my fobs broke off years ago, so I wanted to replace that part only. Unfortunately, the key part of my 2008 Beetle fob does not fit with the loop part of this case. I am not willing to replace the whole shell out of fear of breaking the chip. I’m super bummed. The quality seems nice.

First off the case is a good replica. But 2nd it is not compatible with the oem case. You have to transfer you old blade to the new case. You can't swap your old top portion to the new bottom fob. But it was easy to do since the new case are within tolerance to use the factory blade. The FOB portion gives you a nice little hole to drop the IMMO pill into and then you can use some silicone to hold it in there. I stole the emblem off the glovebox manual and it works great since those are flat backed and not curved like on a factory remote. These new fobs dont have a curved logo indent its flat so replacement logos will have trouble sticking..New key set accomplished for very little. Will definitely use again. When tryin to dig out your old Immo pill it better to cut the case away then pry the pill out. Don't risk breaking it. The new blank blades are brass so any locksmith will cut them. But I just transfer the blades by pinching the oil out with a drift punch. Very small drift punch

I was about to purchase OEM key fob covers for $50 when I saw these. Given the price, I gave them a chance. They are what you'd expect for the price. Useable but not as good as OEM. The spring for the key is a little weak, the case opens easily, and I had to secure the chip a little better. I was concerned the fob would come apart and the chip would fall out. Again, usable for the price, but you get what you pay for; lower price, lower quality.

Ordered this set to replace the original set of key fob casings. There is no directions that come with the set, but with a quick search on YouTube, I was able to figure out how to switch the internals of the old fob casings to the new ones. If it wasn’t for the missing VW logo on the new set you wouldn’t even be able to tell the difference. Highly recommend.

I have a 2004 R32 and the case was perfect, i kept my original key i just used the buttons part.
