Only Weighs A Little Over Ten Pounds . . . .
I was given the task of finding a 32" TV for a relative and trying it out, which is always a fun thing to do. The first one I saw at Amazon was this one and I was surprised--a 32" Sony Bravia TV for $148! With Prime it arrived in two days, and I was surprised again when I discovered how lightweight it was. Sony says it weighs 11.5 pounds with the base on; my scale said 10.5 pounds; but it makes no difference--it's so light it can be easily moved by anyone from one place to another in a home, or taken to and fro from college dormitories or vacation houses. (It can double as a PC monitor, too, hooked up with an HDMI cable.) Sony should have made a carry case for this TV, with a padded side for the screen. The screen, by the way, is at least 31" measured diagonal, although that appears to be not agreed upon here in the Amazon reviews. Sony says in the manual it is 31.5 inches.Hooking this Bravia up to both a Cox mini cable box and then an antenna caused no problems; with the exception I didn't realize you don't do a channel auto-search if the cable box is hooked up to the TV with an HDMI cord; just use the input button on the remote to go to the HDMI port and the channels will be there. When I plugged an antenna into that input, it only took a few minutes to find the 20 or so local digital stations in my area. There are two HDMI ports, one USB, and all the RCA component jacks you'll ever need for audio or video equipment. Neither HDMI port is an MHL one, though, so the old Roku streaming stick I have did not work, but my ROKU LT worked fine. The remote is a nice one and easy to use. It even has a "picture off" button in case you just want to use the TV to listen to music. In addition, it has Play/Pause/FF/REW/Stop buttons to use with Sony Bravia DVD players and such. Setup was simple and fast, and the only problem I had was when I tried to do screen adjustments before hooking up the cable box. You can't do any screen adjustments when there is nothing currently on the screen. Once you have a picture, the screen adjustment buttons work. I think the picture on this TV is lovely, and the sound is much better than I expected. There is an audio plug in the back, however, if you want to attach an external speaker or a headphone. It's your typical mini plug. In addition, on the TV are on/off, input, channel and volume buttons.Other features include a clock, but not an alarm clock; and a photo frame display that will show the clock, the calendar and a picture of your choice. In addition, there are many, many picture and sound adjustments available, as well as a sleep timer and a parental lock. This TV might be small and inexpensive, but it certainly is not lacking in the features found on larger, more expensive televisions. Sony is a dependable TV brand, too. The warranty is only for a year, however, but hopefully this TV will last for many years, as a TV should. I've always thought the heavier an electronic item, the higher the quality, but maybe that's no longer true. A TV as lightweight as this one would definitely be a godsend to many people.P.S. When I started writing this review, Amazon still had some of these 2015 model TVs. After posting, I noticed they were all gone at that wonderful price of $148.

Relatively Hard To Find But Worth The Hunt
What a pleasant surprise! I was looking for a 32" HDTV to put in our guest room so that overnight visitors could watch some TV from the bed before calling it a night. The 32" size seemed appropriate given the distance of the TV from the viewing area. I didn't want to add another cable box to our Xfinity contract since the room is not used enough to justify the cost, so I ordered Amazon's "Best Seller In Antennas", the 1byone HDTV Antenna with a 50 mile range. As is usual for me, I did a lot of research on various blogs, Best Buy, and Amazon itself. All the features I was looking for were found on this particular set, as well as a great price. In fact, it had sold out on Best Buy. It seemed as though many reviewers believed that this set provided up to 1080p reception rather than 720p. Based on my usage so far IT DEFINITELY PROVIDES 1080p PROGRAMMING. Not only that, but with this particular 1byone antenna I was able to receive 44 different channels. That was another big surprise. This Sony came well protected in its packaging, which proved to be very important since the delivery service (to be unnamed but starts with "F") dropped the unit by mistake while putting it over our entry gate. It was easy to unpack, install the base mount, and then hook up to the HDTV antenna. I had a bit of difficulty getting it to recognize the antenna, but once accomplished it rewarded me with an automatic channel scan with 44 channels received. This of course is not just a function of the antenna but is also based on the quality of the tuner in the set. The sound is pretty good but would be improved up dramatically with a good quality sound bar. Once again, this was not really necessary in my application. The picture, especially the ones received in 1080p, is very impressive. The TV itself is light weight, easy to move around, and the mount is quite stable. Add these features to a killer price and it's easy to see why other retailers have sold out (it is a 2015 model). If you can find one and if you are looking for a kitchen or bedroom TV, this should be at the top of your list.

I love this TV
I love this TV!! I wanted to cut the cord but didn't want the smart bells and whistles but something that was still feature rich. This is it. I was able to set it up in no time which was great. The picture is crisp and clear but you can adjust to fit your taste. I really like the way you can adjust the size of the screen from full, wide, to wide zoom so people don't look distorted. I can easily switch from TV to video and watch movies by changing input and still have slots for the HDMI and USB to add other things if I want. The sound is good but not great which is not a biggie for me as I use external speakers (it even lets me adjust them with the TV remote).Purchased a 25 mile antenna and it easily did the scan setup for me (I actually think it learns because after resetting it a couple of times it pulled in a couple more channels and I'm up to 30 that come in perfectly. Not bad). The channels are at the quality I was paying Comcast (she spits on the ground) and I'm not paying extra for channels I don't want. All in all when friends have come over to watch movies and I tell them what I paid they are shocked. I'm not a video purist so this is just fine for my needs and budget... and it's a Sony.
