Here at Ancol we always suggest measuring your dogs neck before making a selection because collars are sold by the 'to fit' size rather than by breed or by age range.

Collar Size 1 ( XXS) 20-26 cm
Collar Size 2 (XS) 26-31cm
Collar Size 3 (S) 28-36cm cm 
Collar Size 4 ( S/M) 35-43cm

Collar Size 5 (M) 39-48cm

You will see there is a crossover in the sizes , if you have a young dog or puppy that is bound to grow, go with the size that allows for more adjusting.

HOW TO MEASURE YOUR DOG: Measure your dog around the neck using a measuring tape or piece of wool/string and a ruler. Try to ensure there will be 2 fingers width between the collar and the dog.

When it says 55cm is that the full length of the collar?
