Easy and very sturdy
I bought these to build a swing frame for my mom and man were they easy to put together. I will say you do have to order two so they’re a little more expensive but definitely worth it. This kit comes with quality hardware call rebuilt parts would definitely use again.

Extremely Strong Swing Set Bracket
This is an Amazon product and it is a super product! It is well made and solid. All the hardware is in the box. If your working on a swing set then you should have the few basic tools needed; a drill for pilot holes for the 3 inch lag bolts; wrench or socket for the lag bolts (9/16 inch socket or wrench). Assembly requires two 4x4x8 treated boards for the legs. And, one 4x6x12 (for three swing set)Here’s the glitch for easy installation. We went to a box store and bought a true cut 4x6x12 treated beam. But, the bracket section for this 4x6x12 beam is true to size and will not fit a treated 4x6 beam because treated wood is actually slightly bigger; about 1/4 inch on all sides. You have to shave about 1/4 inch x 10 inches off one side of the 4x6 beam and 1/4 inch off the top or bottom of the beam as well. Then this brace will slide in without banging the beam or bracket. Do NOT bang the bracket! We used spray cooking oil after we shaved it on the beam and bracket and it slid in perfect. If you look closely at the photos you can see we shaved the 4x6 beam to fitThere is NOTHING wrong with this bracket! It is designed to fit a 4x6 size beam BUT treated wood is still sold as a 4x6 product but it is slightly thickerRegardless, trim it a little like mentioned and it will work great and be extremely secure and strong!I would buy it again without hesitation!!!

Very sturdy
Built swing set for my kids and this is about as easy as it gets to set up a swing cross bar and legs

Heavy duty
It made putting up a swing set way easier. The posts fit in there perfectly. It also came with the hardware. It is a little spendy but you get what you pay for, convenience and ease.

A few tweaks would make this 5 stars
I ordered these (note as many say you must buy two as they don’t come as a pair) after I failed miserably at cutting the correct angle in top the 4x4 posts with a skill saw to set the head piece. These brackets make construction of an A frame swing base easyThe unit is very sturdy. As others have said I had to use a sledge hammer to set the 4x6 post in the top rail as the opening was fabricated as a tight fitThis is where my disappointment came. There was a LOT of play in the 4x4 post fit-I’m talking 1/8 to 1/4 inch space on all 4 sides. As the legs are 8’ Long it seemed important to have the legs bolted in at roughly the same angle to insure a “flat” profile. I set the legs against the outside wall and used shims to position the leg pairs at roughly the same angle on the walls 90 degrees from the outside wall . When I got it all bolted up there was more play in the legs then I was comfortable with. Maybe this is intentional to allow for leveling but I didn’t like it. I would be MUCH happier if the fit of the legs was as tight as the header insuring the correct leg placement. I ended up adding a stabilizing bar as shown to keep the legs at the angle I wanted. I still have to cut the angle on the feet of the legs so it sits “flat”. I guess I knew that before construction but I wish the instructions had provided a rough starting angle. Fixing it now will be more work.As many have said this is hard to do as one person. I built the left leg pair. Got it standing on its legs and them strapped the head beam to the top of a ladder to hold it. I was then able to insert the 4x4 posts in the right pair. One person would struggle to flip it once built

Grateful to have a swingset
Needed a swingset in the backyard for our 3.5 year old but we had limited space. Found another bracket on Amazon that we could mount to our tree (next to the blue garage in the picture) to use that as one side of our swingset, and purchased this bracket to make the other a-frame side needed to keep it upright. This bracket was mainly chosen based on reviews and the fact that it was already painted black, but it's actually been a really solid purchase. Very structurally sound. Came with nice bolts to attach everything. Has held up well and heavy enough that we haven't even needed to sink those 4x4 posts into the ground to avoid tipping. Bonus, when we move this will be the simplest swingset to take apart and transport to our new home.

Top Quality units, There is a difference!
I almost pulled the trigger on the cheaper set of the Brackets on Amazon but I’m so glad I did not! These brackets are quality steel construction and the critical welds that marry the top cross bracket to the leg brackets are done beautifully. Not the hatchet job welds on the cheaper alternative. These are from a US manufacturer in Indiana!! YES, I would definitely buy them again!

Great experience
Ended up using 9 ft 4"×4"s and very happy with outcome. Granddaughter is on cloud 9. Easy assembly with simple tools.

Why pay double?
It clearly says that it is one bracket for the price of two. My thought process was "Eww, why have a green brackets when you can have black", and it was the same price as two green ones so I assumed it was for two brackets. My bad. Clear instructions though, quality item, just not sure if it was worth double the price. Also, getting a treated 4x6 that wasn't rough cut was not possible in my area.

Sturdy bracket but where's the quality control
Honestly I am kind of disappointed I bought this because it looked very professional and strong I'm undecided if I want to use it because it just looks off because it is by over half an inch and missing a bolt hole my OCD will go crazy looking at this. I'm sure no one else would even notice but I will always know. I'm sure it will still do the job no problem but it just is very disappointing
